Then came the Shrimp Mykonos – marinated Shrimp sauteed with some Pankos for Crispiness (Exceptional). And Grilled Lamb Chops that were well-seasoned and cooked perfectly.
We will be back again soon.
But this place is OUTSTANDING. We arrived “late” you would say, we got there at 8pm and the kitchen was only open until 9 pm (which I find too early, but I dont know if it was because it was a Tuesday).
Our server was wonderful, great service and suggestions. He kept it real about the kitchen closing but it didnt feel too pushy.
A bit pricey but is worth it. Food was VERY good. And the place itself looks very good. Im giving a 4 stars in Atmosphere just because of the terrible Xmas decorations.
Protip: order the Hummus Trip to share and include extra orders of pita bread.
Parking was a little tight but outside a parking garage so easy access. Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted immediately, seated and was offered to order drinks right away.
I found out this is a family owned restaurant, and the staff was so patient, explained all the dishes, and was overall so professional.
Ambiance is really nice here. The Mediterranean-inspired design has cozy island vibes. The Greek coastal aesthetic is clean, modern, and so welcoming. Such a relaxing atmosphere.
I ordered the Tzatziki sauce which came with pita triangles- it was REALLY good. The sauce was made perfect, was delicious with a cool cucumber hint and creamy, and just delicious paired with the perfectly toasted pita bread.
There was enough left to save it for my main entree. I ordered their Horiatiki Salad – aka their Greek salad – with a Souvlaki Chicken skewer.
The salad was relatively small with a huge triangle of feta, which I don’t typically like that much feta. It seemed out of proportion until I started eating it and realized what a gem the feta is there- it is mild, creamy and seasoned with oregano to perfection, so not even a tiny bit overpowering. It matched the salad which was perfectly seasoned so so well. I couldn’t believe I ate every bite of the salad and especially the feta- the first time ever! It was delicious.
The souvlaki chicken skewer was also cooked to perfection , had wonderful flavor, and the chicken was moist. It was really wonderful plain or dipped in my Tzatziki sauce!
This was the perfect serving size, I was too full for dessert but I ordered Baklava to go. I did have a bite of it, I don’t think it’s the best I’ve had but it tasted authentic for a 1 bite tryout!
Staff checked on me frequently, as did the manager. Service was really outstanding.
While this was a rather pricey meal ($50-$60 pp), and I rarely give 5 stars to a restaurant – this Greek food was well worth it, the experience and the drive. It’s a vibe- and the food is worth repeating. Look forward to going again if I’m in the area.
