Pardner’s Bar-B-Que is the real deal! If you’re looking for authentic Texas barbecue with great flavor and a welcoming atmosphere, this place absolutely delivers.
The food was fantastic — perfectly smoked meats, great sides, and that classic BBQ flavor you hope for when you walk into a place like this. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve.
The service was just as good as the food — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere has that relaxed, local BBQ joint vibe that makes you want to sit down, enjoy your meal, and stay awhile.

Authentic Southern BBQ and True Southern Hospitality
My brother and I stopped by Pardners Barbecue & Steak because it was one of the closest BBQ spots in the area—and we’re so glad we did. This is hands down the closest experience you’ll get to true Southern barbecue and Southern hospitality.
We were warmly welcomed by Amy, who instantly made us feel at home. I trusted her completely to guide our order, and she did not disappoint. She recommended the barbecue platter, so we split it up—my brother went with the barbecue chicken, and I got the brisket. Both were incredible, but the chicken was out of this world—seriously one of the best we’ve had anywhere. Amy also suggested the barbecue beans and egg salad, which were just as unforgettable.
On top of the amazing food, Amy has a secret menu item, so definitely ask her about that when you go—she’s the type of person you’ll want to chat with anyway.
We also had the pleasure of meeting April, the manager, who was an absolute sweetheart. As two folks visiting from Maryland, it was a real treat to meet such kind, genuine Southern women who take pride in their food and service.
If you’re anywhere nearby, don’t think twice—Pardners is a must. Can’t wait to come back!

The food was not very good. The only thing that was great was the hushpuppies and the Texas toast. The staff was fussing at each other. The waiter didn’t come over regularly and I almost had to go to the back just to find someone to check us out. The beans tasted like they are out of a can. And the barbecue sauce tasted awful. The table was sticky too. Overall not my best experience.

They give you really big amounts but it doesn’t taste good.
The brisket was not ready and still very chewy.
Fries were soggy and full of oil, Texas toast were nice. Corn nuggets seems really average and has no taste.

Our server was very nice.
The BBQ chicken was pretty good
Onion rings were good.
Sweet tea was good

Overall experience took forever
One server (not ours) ignored us upon entry, even after making eye contact and assisting another customer.
They desperately need a busser.
Didn’t bring salads out before the meal as requested, but rather received them after our main entrees arrived.
Requested sauces when the meal arrived but ended up having to get ketchup and BBQ sauce off another table ourselves.
No drink refills were given
Cole slaw was dry, decent flavor but dry.
Pulled pork wasn’t great at all. Had an “off” taste about it.

Well first I called to tell them we were bringing a few guys with intellectual disabilities; I stated it would be myself, the guys and their nurse. I asked if they could order from the kids menu because their food intake has to be monitored and we have one with diabetes. The woman on the phone said they couldn’t do that unless they were under 10 years old. To me that’s ridiculous since we had two staff that were ordering from the regular menu. Anyway then I asked for no mayo because we count calories and both sandwiches came slathered in mayo. The waitress pointed it out so I could scrape it off. The barbecue pork which I was told couldn’t be ordered without sauce had a strange taste and had so much sauce you couldn’t tell what you were eating. Fries were swimming in oil. I wouldn’t recommend the place overall. The service and serving staff were friendly though.

The server started out great then they started getting busy, and all the server’s got overwhelmed and had a hard time to get anything had to go to drink station just to get a refill ask for food items several times other tables were experiencing the same some people were walking out after getting seated the food was hot and a pile of meat I got brisket and chicken along with salad bar the banana pudding was just wipe cream flavored a little disappointed on that. Fried green tomatoes were great, and grilled cheese was good for the kid

The baked potatoes were huge… and very tasty.. Nice salad.. I got the combo plate of brisket and pulled pork. The brisket was very tender and good. I didn’t care for the pulled pork; it just had a different taste to it that I didn’t care for. The staff was very nice.
