What really stood out was the exceptional service from our server, Amir. He greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Throughout the day, he checked in at just the right times, offered great menu suggestions, and even remembered small details about our order. It’s rare to find someone who balances professionalism and friendliness so naturally, but Amir did it perfectly.
The food was equally impressive. I ordered the kalepatche (lamb stew) with lemon, butter and onions, and it was cooked to perfection — tender, flaky, and bursting with flavor. The side dishes complemented it beautifully. To finish the meal, I ordered Persian tea, which was a true highlight. It was served beautifully in a glass cup, with the deep amber color that Persian tea is known for. The aroma was soothing — a mix of black tea with subtle floral notes, slightly earthy and comforting. The taste was smooth and robust, not bitter at all, with a gentle hint of rose and cardamom that lingered pleasantly after each sip. It was the perfect way to end the meal — calming, aromatic, and authentic.
Overall, Pardis restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The food, atmosphere, and especially the outstanding service from Amir made it a five-star experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family.
Bob is the sweetest server I’ve ever met in my life! It is like Pardis is his home, and he’s hosting us!
The food is 20/10, service 20/10, the atmosphere is 20/10, managment 20/10, can’t recommend enough!
This first time trying Pardis’ Tachin and I must say it tasted good, but the look and design could be better!
I also ordered the Lamb Shank with baghali polo, which is, in my opinion, their best offering. The lamb was tender and succulent, perfectly paired with the fragrant dill rice and lima beans.
However, I must mention that my experience with their takeout service could use some improvement. The staff’s attitude towards my order was not very pleasing, which put a damper on the overall experience.
Despite this, I will definitely return to Pardis. The quality of their food is too good to overlook, and I’m eager to enjoy the dining experience in-house next time!
Nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it, tablecloth and proper setting. I love how they round tables for easy food sharing.
Plenty of parking in their private lot.
I liked it but just not sure if the price justified it. The food was delicious but I wouldn’t say it’s anything unique that I couldn’t get in other more affordable Persian restaurants. It was a very nice evening nonetheless with some friends that I haven’t seen for a while!
We went there on Saturday. It’s a nice atmosphere, nice people, and clean environment. I liked their in house made bread a lot. One of the 2 stars was for these positive experiences. Unfortunately that’s where the complements have to stop.
For the 4 of us we ordered 4 dishes, lamb chops, lamb shank, sultani beef, and bone in chicken. First only 2 foods arrived. Then the lamb chop came, which was with wrong type of rice. That was taken back and brought back with the correct rice and the final dish. We were unhappy to find out all food were just Luke warm. I put a little butter inside my rice and it didn’t even melt!! The lamb shank was really not warm at all. Lamb chop was overcooked and dry. Bone in chicken was OK. Sultani barg was so thin, we wondered how it could have possibly been made that thin. Honestly we’d never ever seen one like that in any restaurant. It was paper thin. And of course it was dry because of it.
We looked at waited for our server, who was so overwhelmed that never came by our table again. We were really hungry. So we started eating anyway. Hindsight, we really shouldn’t have done that. Our server showed up at the very end with the bill. I told him about issues. He said he wished I’d told him, and I had to remind him that he was nowhere to be found.
overall, unpleasant, mediocre food with servers running around trying to catch up with orders. Spent $250 for 4 people was really not worth it
The food was absolutely exceptional. Each dish was prepared with great care, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The chai, the polo dishes, and the desserts were all incredible and truly unforgettable. The freshly baked bread served hot was a delightful touch, adding a unique and homey feeling to the meal.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed and well cared for. Additionally, the availability of free parking is a huge convenience, especially in a busy city.
Restaurant Pardis is a perfect choice for anyone looking for high-quality food, excellent service, and a comfortable dining environment. I highly recommend it!
“I’m still reeling from the incredible dining experience I had at Pardis Persian Restaurant in Los Angeles! As a huge fan of Persian cuisine, I was blown away by the authenticity and quality of the dishes.
The kababs were, hands down, the best I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection, the juicy, flavorful meat just melted in my mouth. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable.
But what truly sets Pardis apart is the exceptional service. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we felt like part of the family. Our server was knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions about the menu.
The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, with beautiful Persian decor and soft music playing in the background. It felt like a little slice of Tehran in the heart of LA.
If you’re looking for an authentic Persian dining experience in Los Angeles, look no further than Pardis Persian Restaurant. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
Rating: 5/5 stars
Price: Reasonable ($15-$30 entree range)
Recommended for: Persian food lovers, kabab enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a unique dining experience in LA.”
My name is Mickey and I’m a black domestic shorthair cat from Australia. I was told by other cats that have been out here on holiday that this is the BEST Persian restaurant in California and I have to say I am not disappointed in any way!! The food was great and the atmosphere here is awesome and I really appreciated that the staff treated me with respect even though I’m a cat. I will be recommending this place to all my feline friends that much I can promise!!

This is a classy place but very inviting and the food is great but the staff makes the experience of eating there fantastic.
I invited under 20 people, friends and family for lunch and the experience was great. The place is very clean, food was served on time and they have family style service. No hidden expenses as everything is explained beforehand.
Tip was added to the bill but it was very little so I added much more to the tip. Anyways I’m usually a good tipper.
All in all our experience was great.
I would definitely recommend them and I’ll be going back for sure.
