Special thanks to the service crew (the one wearing a coat and glasses) — he was very kind and attentive throughout our lunch.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our dining experience and will definitely come again. Thank you, Parathai Elmina!
I ordered two firepot chicken tom yam soup, each advertised to serve 2–3 people. When they arrived, the portions were frustratingly small, especially the chicken, which was barely enough for one person. Instead of having plenty of chicken, the soup was mostly mushrooms, which was really disappointing. For a Thai restaurant, firepot tom yam soup should be the main attraction, but sadly it fell short.
The grilled squid with BBQ was another letdown. Even with the spicy sauce, it lacked flavor and didn’t impress at all. The white rice also tasted unusual, almost like sticky rice, which was unexpected.
One small suggestion for improvement, it would be helpful to provide a proper hand-washing station or complimentary wet tissues, as many Malaysians eat with their hands. Also, offering a wider variety of hot drinks would be nice, as the current options are limited.
On a brighter note, some dishes were enjoyable. The steamed seabass with lime and chilli sauce was delicious, as was the deep-fried seabass with sweet and sour sauce, though the sauce could have been a bit more generous. The Thai-style omelette with onions and stir-fried kailan with salted fish were also tasty. Desserts and drinks were fine, nothing to complain about.
Overall, it was an okay visit, though personally, I’m not very likely to return. Hopefully the restaurant continues to improve for future diners.
Service: 5/5
Atmosphere: 5/5
ParaThai here is pretty much like other ParaThai – good and amazing. Pricing is a bit on higher side tho (but it’s delicious la)
Their service is top notch. Very attentive to the customers.
In terms of atmosphere, it is fine. I wish this restaurant is larger tho. But you do have outdoor seating option.
We order, Kankung belacan, tomyum soup, padtai, pineapple fried rice, spring roll n fish cakes for 3 of us. Every dish were so delicious, price also reasonable. staffs are polite, friendly n attentive too. Highly recommended.
The food is 10/10 as a thai food lover especially their Tom Yum Noodle.
The service is on top! They treat the kids very friendly. Thank you & kudos to the team
