I ordered a combo plate and was impressed across the board. The carne asada was tender and perfectly seasoned, the enchiladas were rich and full of flavor, and the rice and beans were fresh and well-balanced — not filler, but real sides that add to the meal. The chips and salsa came out right away, warm and crisp, with a house-made salsa that’s just spicy enough to keep you dipping.

We were looking for an authentic restaurant while in the area for our Grandsons hockey tournament. We found Paraiso close to our hotel in Clarkston. The food was amazing as we’re the refreshments. Prices were very fair and the restaurant was clean, nicely decorated and felt very comfortable. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

I don’t normally send food back to the kitchen, but when they tortillas arrived for our fajitas, the were not even cooked and practically translucent. We politely asked for them to be cooked again. The waitress seemed confused, but agreed to have them “more warmed up.” Apparently they use some variation of a microwave to cook the tortillas. The fajita plate was good, but mostly veggies. And when we ordered chips and queso, she was again confused by what we meant. What we ended up with was some chips with melted cheese on top.
The margaritas were decently proportioned but not mixed well at all. All the alcohol was sitting at the top.

These half eaten plates were still HOT. Some of the tastiest Mexican food I’ve ever had in the valley. Will absolutely be coming back. Just over $50 for 2 people with tips no alcohol. Great prices, great quick staff, and a beautiful amount of food

Very friendly staff who serves you promptly. Delicious foods! Very clean and well managed! We love their decorations & furniture themes, they’re very beautiful. This was our 1st time to eat here & it was the best Mexican food we’ve had in a while. We hope to be able to stop through here again when we visit this state.

My daughter and I have been going to Paraiso since she was little. She always wanted sour cream with her chips and salsa and they would always bring it knowing that. We still come here to eat with my now daughter and grand daughter, same staff and still remember us! Family friendly environment. It’s our favorite place.

I went to the restaurant yesterday for the very first time and I ordered the steak fajitas and all night long let’s just say I was ill… Unable to stay out of the bathroom. That has got to be absolutely the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. If you want really good Mexican food come to la casa Lopez in Moscow… Well worth the drive they actually have good Mexican food. We spent $60 for two people for lunch and what a waste that will never happen again. Beware the food there will make you sick

We have eaten food catered from here a number of times and have always enjoyed it. We finally sat down to try their pollo mole and loved it!
The mole is more meaty than sweet, which is perfect for James.
The whole restaurant has a family vibe and the booths were comfortable. We can see bringing people here to celebrate.
They deliver, offer take out, but what is unique to us is the drive thru! It’s wild to see one at a sit down restaurant, but COVID has made them resourceful.
We will be coming back, again!
