My friend and I visited this restaurant on September 1. I ordered the 1/2 rotisserie chicken and my friend ordered the Chicken Parmesan over spaghetti. Our server was named Steve. Our server was very nice and very courteous. The food was really bad. The rotisserie chicken looked like it was very old and had been reheated. It also tasted that way. My side dishes were a salad and a baked potato. The baked potato was also very old. They also gave me some green beans in this weird red sauce that I didn’t ask for. I didn’t eat it. We were on a tight schedule that day and did not have time to allow them to make it right. So we ate what we could and prayed that our stomachs wouldn’t hurt. They have a LOT of items on the menu so that should have been a red flag for me. Anyway, I made it out alive. If I ever visit this place again, I will be sure to reserve enough time to send the food back if it’s warmed over. Pretty decent atmosphere and the waiter was really nice. They offered dessert with our dinners but we didn’t want to press our luck so we both declined.

Remembering Abandoned Midwest

We had good service. Everyone was friendly and food came quickly. I got on of the breakfast skillets, it was very good, though it lacked some sort of vegetable. Thought it could have used some green pepper or onion, but overall delicious. Others ordered gyros, and sandwiches. Gryo was said to be a bit crispy and dry, but as it’s grilled and not from a spit, it makes sense. There were no complaints on the sandwiches, I had plenty to bring home for leftovers as well. Definitely would come back if the chance comes.

Love this spot. Like most Greek restaurants, they serve a wide variety of foods. All solid options. My favorite is the jalapeño and chorizo skillet and the flaming saganaki cheese. And their lemon rice soup is good.

This is a Hobart, IN local gem. Good quality food for the price and attention to detail from our server!

I personally had fried chicken & waffles that tasted great with an amazing hot honey drizzled on top. Herb roasted chicken hit the spot, wings, fries and ice cold drinks for the win! The staff treated my kids great and were super attentive. Both servers were kind —We had 2 servers because the original server’s shift ended mid dinner and new server came in and was swift..

All in all good experience and price was fair for our big family. Food portions were a good size as well. This will be a regular spot for us to come back to.

Foods good. Prices have gotten a little crazy but where hasn’t. Great lemon rice soup and sandwiches, gyros for sure. Had family members order ALL KINDS of stuff off the menu and ALWAYS good.

These fools added a tip to my bill thinking that was okay. Even though the service is usually shit and the food is “okay” at best. Insane to have the audacity to add an 11 dollar tip. Sad thing is I used to frequent here for cheap eats a lot and I have ALWAYS tipped OVER what is deserved. Not anymore if youre looking for a good place for breakfast try Blueberry Hill in portage. They actually value their customers..

Rather pricey.. I asked for the two egg meal that comes with your choice of meat, toast, and potatoes. I asked the waitress instead of meat can I just have two more eggs .. … I was still charged the full price for the meal, and was also charged separately for the two individual eggs.. Probably will not be returning.

I ordered Chopped Sirloin Steak with Grilled Onions for $16.00. My partner ordered Fried Catfish for $16.95. In the end our bill was $43.00. They are charging gourmet prices on terribly cooked food. When you and your partner work all day and sit down and spend over $40 on a careless meal it is very aggravating. If you are thinking of stopping by here, don’t waste your time or your money. My meal was mushy, and the catfish was watery and unflavored. One of the worst meals I’ve ever had.

Whoever was the manager tonight 11/13/2025 is UNBELIEVABLE! We have spent hundreds of dollars at the Hobart locatiom and always liked the food with no complaints. Tonight, my wife ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo and it was extremely dry with no flavor. Only a $62 order tonight. The manager said there was nothing she could do about it and if we have a problem to “Call Chris in the morning”. Are we hiring kids as managers these days? The limited apology was not very sincere and the manager was quite rude! If I was in the restaurant and she was talking to customers on the phone like that I would immediately ask for her resignation since the customer is the reason she has a job. You’ve lost 3 customers because of 1 manager. If I have time I will call Chris… seriously ridiculous.

What a beautiful restaurant. I had heard so much about it I was excited to go . So excited that I forgot to take pictures of our meals. So I’ve included a partial meal pic of leftovers. We got the patty melt & turkey melt both with fries & shared it. Deeelicious! It comes with soup or salad as well for under 10.00. The dessert looks amazing too! Go check them out, definitely worth it.
