Passing through town and wanted decent coffee and pastries for breakfast. I’m glad that my husband found this place on Google maps. It’s a hopping place on a Sunday morning. Had to wait for about 10 minutes or so for our order. Spacious and bright with lots of seating. They sell cute merchandise, too! Staff were efficient and friendly. Coffee and pastries were delicious! First soft scone I’ve tasted unlike the common hard ones.

Charming cafe with cute souvenir-type items. This place prides itself on high quality coffee as a true coffeehouse rather than a standard cafe, but the coffee is not substantially better than most cafes (except Starbucks, which is bottom-tier). The coffee IS good, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the local coffeehouse in my hometown. Also, the menu is rather limited since it does emphasize coffee. But again, their coffee isn’t good ENOUGH to warrant the limited to selection, in my opinion. But if you go here, you will get a good cup of coffee. So it does serve its purpose. Also a nice 3rd space, suitable reading area.

Simple but tasty food and coffee menu. We enjoyed fresh-made bagels and cream cheese toasted to perfection with the tastiest chai tea I’ve ever had, spicy and perfectly hot. The cafe is cozy and inviting to enjoy a coffee with friends, and has a selection of retail items to browse. Service was fast and friendly. Bought a pain-au-chocolate, savory spinach pastry, and delicious monster cookie bar for hiking snacks. Oh and a fresh bowl of clean water for doggies outside. Great place to start the day.

What a cute place! I got the coffee with the orange zest and the pastry with spinach/feta.. it was very good..i got it to go and I’m new to town/passing thru, but when you turn out of the parking lot if you turn left it leads you to a super cute edge of the beach you can pull into to drink your coffee. Very cute!!!

I am a spoiled coffee drinker who likes their flat white properly made, and I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of coffee drinks at Paragon coffee house. Better than many fancier places in America (and I have been to a lot because I seek good espresso based coffee everywhere I travel). They also have some simple but nice breakfast options- egg bites, bagels, baked goods, oatmeal. The atmosphere is great and has some nice touches – a Singer sewing machine refashioned into a vanity table in the restroom, eclectic but pretty plates, photos of local nature sights on the walls. Great coffee house.

We were suffering from mid day slump and were looking for some caffeine post lunch. This place popped up and we paid a visit. It is a big place – with so many gifts/souvenirs to also for sale. We got oat-milk cappuccino and rose cardamom cold brew. Both the drinks were outstanding – specially the cold brew which was so aromatic! This shop is owned by a Del Norte High School graduate and employs the high school students – such a nice community. We enjoyed our drinks and got some gifts for our friends too!

Coffee is excellent – the pastries are good – but this place gets packed on weekends and they have a hard time keeping up with the demand. Waited almost half an hour for my coffee and pastry. The staff is busting their butts, but the prep area is small and can really only accommodate 2-3 employees which isn’t enough to meet the demand. Still, highly recommend you pop in on a weekday or off-peak-hours for really good coffee!

We stopped into the coffee shop on our way out of town. We stopped first thing in the morning and staff was amazing. Coffee was delicious and the bakery food was homemade. We had the cheddar scone and jalapeño and red pepper bagel. Scone was a savory treat! Thank you for making our morning!
