I took my husband there yesterday for his birthday lunch worst meal we have ever had and we’ve been going there for years. The waiter that we had was unbelievable. Worst winner we’ve ever experienced. My husband ordered a burrito. He brings it out and it’s full of rice he didn’t even mention to him that it had rice in it. He sent it back. He got this other crappy burrito that ended up being $16 for just beans and meat. I wanted Shredded beef enchiladas with rice and beans all I got was for enchiladas. I could only eat one. It was so disgusting and this waiter shouldn’t even be working there. It was Wednesday, 14 January. He was the only male waiter working the lunch shift and he needs to be let golf. We will never be back there ever again. They lost our business for good .

I went to Paradiso for my first time, and while the food wasn’t anything to write home about, my server, I believe her name was Bailey, was exceptional. She was full of energy, made amazing conversation, and did everything in a timely and efficient manner. I would go back for the service alone.
My only qualm is that the food isn’t authentic Mexican by any stretch of the imagination. I’d say it’s more of an Americanized idea of what Mexican food is. Not necessarily bad, but not my cup of tea. The fried ice cream was a bit of a disappointment. The shell coating wasn’t as thick as I like it to be. The fried tortilla strip were also a bit stale which wasn’t ideal either, but for the price I really can’t complain too much. Overall, a good experience.

apparently “seasonal veggies” in the vegetarian enchilada meant broccoli and three strips of bell pepper lol. absolutely nightmarish food experience. the waiter was nice tho

The establishment features various seating sections and definitely exudes a Latin ambiance. It offers a wide array of diverse platters. The food was delicious and in good quantity. You can upgrade a regular fajita to a double portion by paying a little extra. One particular highlight was the incredibly professional and courteous service provided by both the server and the manager. After we finished our delicious dinner, the hour grew late, and to our surprise, the manager personally escorted us to the parking lot to ensure that we left safely. This thoughtful gesture truly exemplified the exceptional level of care and service provided by the restaurant.

I love this restaurant so much. The food is so good and the portions are pretty big, I got too full and had to take mine to go. The decor is SO amazing and beautiful, place is pretty big with multiple rooms. The staff are also very friendly. Definitely would recommend giving this place a try it has such a cool vibe.

First time back here in many years and it was just as good, if not better, than I remembered it! The free chips and salsa appetizer hit the spot as I was starving. The salsa was very tasty, and I was even able to request some hotter salsa free of charge. I had the Tamale and Enchilada combo. So good! My favourite was the pulled beef. Will happily return any time I’m back in Grand Forks. The server, Stacey, was great – kept coming by to refill the salsa and my drinks and very friendly and helpful with recommendations.

I loved the enchilada and crispy beef taco but not big on the tamale. I went for the fried ice cream… it was good, but I don’t care for the corn flake topping . They made an error with order but more than made up for it!

The building exterior is pretty cool. The inside is large and a bit of a walk. Small tables so when you have a large party it’s a bit cluttered on the tables. The margaritas are pretty good here but the food itself was a bit bland. However its the best Mexican food you can get in grand forks so I can’t hate it. But compared to what I have had in other states it wasn’t that good for the price. Staff is friendly and service is fast.

I was visiting friends in the great north and were taken here for dinner. It’s been a long time since I had my own salsa. We were pretty excited about it.
There was a lot to choose from and I chose the Taco Salad with ground beef. I felt that the lettuce to anything else ratio was a bit off and the meat didn’t seem seasoned very much. So I think NEXT time, and there certainly will be a next time, I will order the fajita, quesadilla or whatever it was that has the super long taco shell. These are what my friends had and it all looked so good.
The service was great and I did enjoy my meal but it wasn’t the wow I was hoping for.
When I come back that way, I will be back.
