We placed an Uber Eats take out order for 4 People — 2 Paneer Tikka (16 Oz / EACH), and 5 Naan’s — (Each Curry cost $15)
After we received our order we all were shocked just by looking @ the size of containers (please refer attached pics)!! YES we paid $30 full price for half order food!!!….(just an FYI that it was an Uber Eats order so paid Premium for these Curries $37 for 2)
We thought it would be an honest mistake….as it happens since we are humans, and sometimes even delivery driver leave order behind!!!
This is where the funny part is…after we called the restaurant and explained our issue with order….someone from the restaurant verified with Chef and said this is the correct size and order!!! After he gave us the contact details of Owner and asked us to call him for Explanation of or order and container size…(as all 4 of us are dumb enough to know the difference between 8oz and 16oz containers)….Best part is that after we called Owner…he is trying to convenience us that we are wrong….and 8oz is actually the 16oz container….and told us you can go and check any other restaurants if you want or come in person for better explanation on container size and quantity!!!
We don’t have to go anywhere else to understand the size of containers…if you just google you will see yourself what the difference is….and I am not sure how long you been Scamming customers with price being charged, and quantity of the food being served!!!!
We ordered 16oz Paneer tikka masala, paid $19 each for the curry but still got a 12oz container, filled 3/4th of its size, so around 9oz of the curry which wont even serve a kid. And we had out of state clients, starving for an hour with just garlic naan and rice but no curry to eat with. Worst experience.
I consistently order chicken tikka masala across many restaurants, and theirs is just full of flavor! Their dishes are satisfying to eat if you love spices and heat. I got medium spice to be on the safe side, but personally would go for hot spice next time for a better experience.
On top of that, I’ve been greeted with warm and welcoming energy there both times. They check in on tables just the right amount of times and are very enthusiastic about sharing their good food with customers.
I would definitely revisit and try out their Farmington location, as it is much closer to me than Troy is.
I also noticed that the restaurant advertises itself as halal online, yet they sell beer, which was surprising and concerning.
The restaurant name sounds very appealing, but sadly the food quality does not match it. This was my first visit and definitely my last.
What stood out the most was the constant interruption while dining. The owner repeatedly approached our table during the meal, which felt intrusive and disruptive. While attentiveness can be appreciated, there is a fine line between being hospitable and making guests uncomfortable. Unfortunately, in this case, it detracted from the overall experience.
I hope the management takes this feedback constructively and works toward improving both the dining experience and customer interaction.
I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala (pictured) with a side of Vindaloo and Naan. It was exceptional. The spices were just right and the chicken was melt in your mouth.
The owner Ziggy and staff are very friendly. Come on in and enjoy yourself!
