** Vegetarians please watch out!!! Got non veg order not once but twice **

We placed order for spl veg biryani and this is what we get?? Chicken piece in veg biryani.
This was the second time we had to gi through this issue, being a pure vegetarian and getting this kind of service was unexpected and disappointing.

We had to wait on call for several minutes to get in contact with manager and they had audacity to expect us to be fine with replacement. Even for processing refund they took a week long time to get reply and process it at the first place.

Our whole experience was unhappy and I would like vegetarians to watch out for this.

The WORST restaurant I have ever been to in DC Maryland or Virginia. They have a thoroughly deceptive website. It gives an impression that it’s a “paradise”, until you actually go there. The Ambience, the food, the service …all too bad.. If they only did take away and delivery… that’s different. Should not have dine-in or they should give honest description & pictures in the website. Paper plates, plastic spoon which you have to pick up… not even a glass is there. Money charged in advance. The whole experience is miserable.

Please don’t go by my words only. See the pictures … what they publicize & what they actually provide.

Lovely food. We ordered vegetarian dishes. Veggie dum biriyani, crispy corn, butter roti, butter naan, paneer butter masala and Irani chai was delicious. Will definitely visit soon. Self- service.

Low key Indian restaurant offering counter service and sit in dining. The goat dum biryani was a large portion and really good although quite spicy. I ordered medium and it was still pretty spicy, next time I would do mild. Naan was really good as well. Not too many dining in but a lot of customers carrying out, so it is definitely a popular choice.

I recently ordered the Bheemli Mirchi Chaat — a dish I’ve enjoyed many times and one that’s quite popular for its unique taste and presentation. Typically, it comes semi-dry with roasted peanuts and chopped onions cooked together, which gives it that signature flavor I love.

However, my latest experience was disappointing. It took over an hour for the order to be prepared, and when I finally received it, the dish was completely different — overly saucy and wet, more like a curry than a chaat. This isn’t how it’s ever been served before.

I called the store to raise my concern, and they offered a replacement, which I appreciated. I returned the original dish and picked up the replacement in person. The manager showed me the adjustments they made, but unfortunately, it was still quite wet and lacked the key ingredients — especially the roasted peanuts.

When I pointed this out, the manager claimed that they don’t use peanuts in this dish. I asked him to double-check the menu, and after consulting with the chef, he returned and explained that they were trying out a “new version” of the dish, which is why peanuts were left out.

This left me wondering — are you really experimenting with new versions of dishes without informing customers? If a dish is being changed significantly, shouldn’t that be made clear on the menu or during the ordering process?

As a regular customer who truly enjoys this dish, I hope you take this feedback seriously. Consistency and communication are key — especially when it comes to signature items your customers love and trust.

If I have the option I would give you 0 rating because of the way your manager and call center representatives spoke.

This restaurant was much better when it was Paradise Biryani Pointe. After the recent renaming to Royal Biryani House, the quality has noticeably dropped.
The food is now just average, and the portion sizes have clearly been reduced compared to before. What’s more disappointing is that when this is mentioned, the response from staff is simply okay, with no effort to acknowledge.
