My dad got the Paradise #1 combo one day and the Orange Chicken the second day. You really can’t go wrong with the Paradise Combo plates and the Orange chicken was better than most that I run into.
If you’re downtown and need a spot for lunch I’d add this to your list no doubt. Cant wait to try the Yakisoba bowls!
I got the Paradise special 1, 4 kinds of meat: Kalbi, beef teriyaki, chicken teriyaki and the Meat Jun (thin meat coated in an egg batter). $16.99+tax. It includes rice, a bit of green salad and some macaroni (had too much mayo but otherwise ok).
My favourite was the Kalbi, I actually ordered another half order (1-2 strips of Kalbi cut into 4 pcs). The Kalbi was tender, juicy and smokey, it has just enough char.
The teriyaki meats were so so, and the Meat Jun wasn’t my type but some people may like the egg batter.
They had the chili sauce which wasn’t spicy at all but sweetish. It went perfectly with the meats.
It was a friendly atmosphere, family style which I appreciated.
