For over 3 decades, @paquitosmexican stood the test of time!
I’ve been going here since I moved to Sunny Isles / North Miami. This is still my go to for casual, no frills Mexican food and I’m telling you, the food is yummy.
With more than 36 years of experience, Paquitos uses traditional recipes from his grandmother that have been passed down from generation to generation. They don’t just have burritos or tacos, they offer a variety authentic Mexican platos.
What we ate:
TAQUITOS DORADOS
Corn tortillas rolled and deep fried golden brown, choice of shredded beef or chicken, garnished with sour cream and guac
LA PACHANGA
Premium Reposado Tequila, Gran Gala Italian Liqueur, Lime Juice with Homemade Sour Mix
ACAPULCO COMBINACION
Beef flauta, chicken enchilada suiza and a sope. Served with Mexican rice and refried beans
PAQUITO’S CHULETAS REBOLCADAS
Two center cut pork chops marinated in lime juice, grilled and sliced, sautéed jalapeño peppers, onions served with charro beans

We were craving huevos rancheros and found Paquitos. The food was fresh, hot and very tasty. The michelada was so good too. Just wish that it wasn’t so dark inside. Overall they had great art everywhere. I truly enjoyed the playlist, it brought back childhood memories. Server was pleasant. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food this is the spot.

Came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday and although I didn’t order tradicional Mexican food, being the burger enthusiast I am, I decided to order their Mexican Steak Sandwich.. which is sliced steak with pico de gallo and queso blanco… and I was fantastic! I first tried it without any sauces and it was delicious, however then they brought some hot and spicy sauces and I chose one which had a lime base which took this burger over the top.
I paired this with a Modelo Negro and I was set for the evening.

Just to let you know Martin is awesome. The wife of the owner was polite and helped me to write this review. The food is the most fresh I have ever had. Service is top-notch with Martin and the waitstaff. Sweet environment on late nights during the weekend! I appreciate all the good vibes from everyone here.

We went last night. They bring us chips and salsa. We also ordered some guacamole.
It was hard to choose something because the menu is huge and everything looks good. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas. It came with rice and refried beans. My friend ordered the chimichanga with rice and beans.
My son ordered the Acapulco combo meal of chicken enchilada and a pulled beef flauta, and a sope. It was served with Mexican rice and refried beans.
We enjoyed a couple of mojitos.
I would love to be able to come here daily and go through the entire menu.

Food and atmosphere was great! I would put 5 stars if the waiters were more attentive, but they seemed to have focused on the music. I would still recommend for family fun!

It’s been a long time since we’ve been here. Maybe six years. One of the best Mexican Restaurants in South Florida. They were #1 a few years ago in South Florida. It’s absolutely great. Super great service, excellent food, very clean stablishment. All around one of our top restaurants. They also have a disco/dance floor in the bar area. Mariachis I believe twice a week. They were outside rehearsing was we were leaving. Super friendly guys and very talented. I attached a picture of their business card in case anyone wants to book them.
This restaurant is without a doubt a great place to eat, hangout, for birthday party, etc. The service is always great and the food even better. The prices are very competitive. We love the beautiful decorations. It’s all around .

From the outside, it looks like a hole in the wall, but looks are deceiving! I would totally recommend eating here. We went during happy hour and the margs were BOGO. They were amazing! Get one! The food was also incredible. We got baja fish tacos, fajitas, beef tacos, and 2 kids’ meals. The bill was more than we were expecting, but the food is worth it nonetheless. We added shrimp to the fajitas, and it was an additional $14. For 5 of us to eat, we spent almost $150. They also add 18% gratuity to all checks! Aside from the price, we loved our overall experience. The salsa was by far some of the best salsa I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is chill, and they don’t rush the service. Paquitos has a family-friendly vibe worth checking out if you’re in the area wanting a delicious, homemade feel, meal.
