My husband, 4yo and myself stopped in tonight since we were over this way and have been wanting to try Pappy’s for awhile now. I have to say it was some of the best food we’ve eaten in awhile. Not only was the food delicious and a very clean restaurant but wonderful owners! All the food was AMAZING especially the beans and the cobbler. It all reminded me so much of my grandmas cooking! We will definitely be back and bring the rest of our family and friends!

Nothing special for the price. Catfish was in nuggets, shrimp was soggy and hush puppies were tasteless. Definitely not an $18.00 buffet. Customer be service was non existent. They took our money and I never saw them again. Don’t waste your money!!!

The buffet was relatively small, however, they did keep it well stocked. Their catfish was fried in chunks and pretty tasty. They also served large shrimp on ice. Those two items right there will win me over in a heartbeat. The salad bar looked good, but I left that up to the wife…
Be prepared to gather your own plate, utensils, food and drink. When you are done remember to throw all your items in the trash. On your way out the door their is a tip jar so you can tip everyone for the job they did to enhance your dining pleasure.
Having said all that, the employees were extremely nice and did wipe off the tables after someone left.
Worth the price paid? I have to say “Yes”. The atmosphere lacked some “zing”, but the food was good, and the employees were nice. What more is there?

Drive buy this place quite often so decided to check it out. Pictures on google feature a whole bunch of pies. This was actually the main reason for stopping here. Guess what…no pie when we went. Seems wrong to post pics of food items which are not offered. I asked about the lack of pie and was told they just didnt make any pies that day.
