⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Family Fiesta at Pappasito’s!
If you’re looking for the ultimate Tex-Mex vibe, look no further! We had an awesome family night at the Channelview Pappasito’s, and the energy was absolutely electric. From the moment we walked in, the live music had us in a festive mood—it’s the perfect backdrop for a great meal.
We kicked things off the right way with the legendary chips and queso (a must-have!), and the kids were happy campers with their chicken quesadillas and the kids’ beef taco plate.
For the adults, the drinks were the star of the show. My wife and I started with the Pappasito’s Sangria and then moved on to the margarita flight. Tasting the strawberry, mango, and original lime side-by-side was a blast—every flavor was spot on!
When it came to the main course the Cheese Enchiladas were classic, gooey, and exactly what my wife was craving. I went for the Lamb Chops and wow… they were incredibly tender and delicious. Perfectly seasoned! The service was truly top-notch. If you go, do yourself a favor and ask for Joel. He’s a total pro and made sure we were taken care of the entire night.
We’ll definitely be back for the great food and even better service! ¡Fantástico!

Great service, nice atmosphere. Chips were excellent, some of the best restaurant tortilla chips I’ve had but the food I was not too impressed with. I did not like the drink I ordered and maybe that’s on me but it was stout, all I could taste was the liquor, I enjoy cocktails for the taste of the mix, not to get straight alcohol. The rice was unflavorful and just a bit hard. Beans not the best I’ve had at oh so many Tex Mex joints. My chicken verde enchiladas were good. My spouses meal was about the same, sides not so good but main ok just nothing special and let’s be honest here, with as many Mexican and Tex Mex places you gotta be wow to impress especially at Pappa prices. So overall it wasn’t for us but it wasn’t horrible.

It was our first time eating here .And the food was delicious and cooked to perfection, I had the Shrimp tacos , rice and beans . The waitress and waiter were exceptional and they constantly were making sure we were good . We will definitely be back when we are out here in Houston doing work

I love this chain of restaurants and I still can’t believe what they charged me verse what i received. All of the time at all their various restaurants the one thing you can count on is a big plate. These tacos were cold and very small like 2-3 small pieces of meat. Smaller than street tacos. And the meat was cold and very tuff.
I’m very disappointed and I hate this happened at one of my favorite chains.

There is virtually no authentic Mexican food to be had here. After multiple attempts to order food, only to be told they don’t have the dish, which is fair, I didn’t see it on the menu. The dish in question? A Carne Asada plate.
What kind of Mexican joint doesn’t have that?
Ok, I’ll go for some street tacos. Nope. None to be found. Best they can do is ground beef like an overpriced soft taco from taco bell.
Ok, fine. Getting frustrated by this point. Birria tacos. Fried tacos, right? Nope. Assemble your own soft flour tacos.

We decided to have my husband’s birthday lunch here today. Arrived and we were met in the parking lot by the security guy, asking if we could give a woman’s car a jump. So my husband took his Halo device and started the woman’s car right up. As he made his way back to put the device back in his truck, I went in to get a table. Everything was good, young ladies were very polite. The host sat my son and I. I let her know it’s my husband’s birthday and to please let our server know. She said she would, and also wrote it on our ticket for him to see. While we were eating my husband saw several people being celebrated for their birthday. I didn’t say anything because I expected him to be surprised that he to would be celebrated as they do, usually. Food was excellent, spent $200+, and the young man, Joseph, never even acknowledged my husband’s birthday. We left and I was so disappointed because this was his birthday outing and I wanted that extra little treat for him!!

The seafood enchiladas were scrumptious. Service was a little slow. Seemed like they were under staffed for the lunch crowd but our waitress was friendly and attentive.
