I made reservations for 4 on a Friday evening at 6:45 pm. We arrived early, but had to wait about 10 minutes for our table to be ready. Not a problem. We entered the building from the side requiring a climb up some steps, not knowing there was a back entrance to the restaurant. We entered from the sports bar side.

My husband and I have always enjoyed Pappas food. We don’t typically dine in, but we visited for an early lunch on Valentines Day, and it was set up so beautifully. It was fairly empty as they had just opened, which made it even more special. The crew made us feel like we were the only ones there!

Stopped in for a crab cake after a morning at nearby Double Rock park. Big beautiful crab cake with delicious barely there dressing to hold together. I ordered without the bun and had the Cole slaw and jack potatoes (twice baked and mashed flavored with tiny bits of bacon and onion). Very filling lunch and great service from Sean who was very attentive to the entire room. He was very friendly as well and his recommendation of the triple mousse chocolate cake was spot on. Will definitely return!

When non-Maryland family asks you to take them to a “good crab cake place” for dinner, this place is definitely one of my top favorites! Crab cakes are done very well and get the coleslaw, it’s so good! I wasn’t going to get dessert but my son wanted the ice cream. So glad I decided to split it with him- the cherry chocolate chip was surprisingly amazing!!! If you have room for it at the end I highly recommend it!
