The food was delicious. We had the crab cake, crab dip and crab imperial stuffed shrimp. Service was great as well. Seating was quick with no reservation or waiting.

Came in on Sunday for my sister’s birthday. We had a really great family experience. Weirdly this was my first time at this, the OG, location. We normally go to the cockeysville location. But this one is closer to my sister. Honestly i feel like the quality was a bit better than cockeysville. Everyone was nice. The crabcake was phenomenal and all the sides were great. Would definitely recommend a Pappas Hazy IPA from monument city to go with your food.

This establishment sits right on the corner at the intersection, making it easy to spot. The parking lot has plenty of space, so finding a spot was no problem at all. My wife and I stopped by on a Thursday during happy hour and had no trouble grabbing seats at the bar.
The service was great — the bartenders and bar backs were all incredibly welcoming. You’re not limited to just one bartender; anyone behind the bar will happily serve you. The overall vibe was friendly and inviting.

The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the portion sizes are big. Prices are reasonable, which is always a plus.

Here’s what we tried:
Strawberry Lemon Drop (Wife’s pick): 9/10
Crab Dip: 7/10
Grilled Pork Chop: 10/10 — cooked perfectly and full of flavor
Penne Louisiana (my pick): 8/10 — rich and satisfying
We didn’t take any food photos, but trust me — you won’t be disappointed.

Highly recommend checking out Pappas Restaurant and Sports Bar! Great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.

We were visiting Maryland from out of town. We received a few suggestions of places to visit but the most consistent recommendation was Pappas and with the first bite, it was easy to understand why.

We went out of our way on the roadtrip from Annapolis to Philadelphia to pick up some crab cakes, egg rolls, and deviled eggs. The serving styles (egg roll, deviled egg) were fun and unique compliments to the hearty crab meat. And the sauces were fun, funky additions to the flavor.

If you’re visiting within even an hour of this place, it’ll be worth the detour.

Poupou’s mule was delicious. Crab cake and jackknife potato was yummy. Service was great. 3 entrances made it confusing to find dining room check-in.

I’ve been to the Pappas in Cockeysville, this was my first time at this location. Food was excellent, as expected. We arrived just after 8pm on Saturday, they closed around 9:30 but did not try to rush us out.
Excellent service, excellent food with good selection of items and reasonable prices, big portions.

Recently visited for a family dinner and while I have been here so several occasions, each time I leaved very full and pleased!

The service to start off is great despite how busy it was. There is however a dress code which comes as a surprise given it’s not a super fancy restaurant imo. Granted I have never seen anyone come dressed short of nice and presentable so I’m unsure how strict they are about it.

Food wise, we got calamari for the table and this time I got the crab imperial. I was skeptical because I always get the crab cakes and I was unsure how I would like it given how heavy it sounded but it was delicious! I have to say I preferred it over the crab cakes 1) price point 2) quantity of lump crab meat 3) enjoyable throughout as it was not dry so it paired nicely with the sides.

Crabcakes were, as advertised, excellent. Service was OK, although our server seemed distracted and a bit impatient, even though the dining room wasn’t that crowded. Beer selection was limited as many brands were out of stock. Atmosphere was cozy and not too loud. On a cold, snowy day, appreciated being seated at the table next to the gas fireplace.

To be honest, the place is not that special except for the crabcakes. But those are exceptional enough to make it shine.

Best Crab Cake Ever. All lump crab meat. The service was great. I never had to wait on anything, not even dishes to be removed from table. Great atmosphere, very calm and relaxing. Honey old bay wings are delicious. I had no complaints at all.
