Such a cute and popular place! The burgers are HUGE, which is not a plus for me but for my boyfriend. He didn’t finish his (he also had fries and a lot of the cheese balls) which says a lot. I read there’s an off menu smaller option, so I will get that next time. If you get the regular size, 2 people can happily share 1 burger. I got the fish sandwich. I know wet condiments and toppings went on there with it which will soften the fish, but it wasn’t as crispy as I would have liked it, so next time I will request fried hard. My boyfriend ordered the peppercorn ranch burger. For the appetizer we got the cheese balls and they were good, but that marinara sauce is divine! I could drink it. They have a small amount of bar seating and frozen margaritas, beer, seltzers, and wine from what I saw. You order as soon as you enter then find your seat. Someone comes to bring you your food and drinks. I would go back again!

We went to Papa’s Burgers for lunch a few days ago, and it was absolutely magnificent.
We ordered the regular Papa’s Burger, the Papa’s Cheeseburger, and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Both burgers were super juicy and packed with flavor, cooked perfectly, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The fries were excellent—crispy, hot, and seasoned just right.
The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was outstanding. The chicken was perfectly crispy, the sauce was tangy, and the heat level was spot on—enough kick to stand out without overpowering the sandwich.
We also have to say that our waiter was spectacular—attentive, friendly, and professional. As always, the ambiance at Papa’s is top-class, and the quality of their ingredients really shows.
I highly recommend this place to burger lovers, chicken sandwich fans, or anyone looking for great finger food. Fantastic food, amazing quality, great location—overall, an excellent place to visit

This place was amazing the Quality of food is out of this world from the fresh cut fries to the fresh ground beef makes the burger so juicy and delicious also they top it off with a nice soft bun. My mouth is watering just writing this review. I can’t wait to go back for round two lol also the management and staff are amazing! Jennifer and Chaise came over to our table multiple times to ask how our meal was making sure Everything was perfect! Also our waiter Samuel was awesome. He explained everything to us to make sure our burger came out perfect. Overall, five star experience, best burger ever!

I ordered the fried catfish with onion rings, and both were absolutely delicious. The catfish was perfectly cooked, and the onion rings were crispy and full of flavor. The service was excellent as well—friendly, fast, and very attentive. Great experience overall. I will definitely be coming back! ✔️ ️

I’m from Atlanta, visiting Houston. I am a big fan of the Pappas brand and I love burgers. The day before I stopped at Pappas BBQ and it was great so I decided to visit this Pappas Burger. I ordered a cheeseburger meal and 2 kids meals to go. Service wasn’t the best but I didn’t mind. My total was approximately $38. I left $45 in cash. Not thinking anything of it, I didn’t take my receipt. I drive 20 mins back to my hotel only to discover a RAW burger. I immediately called and spoke with a manager. He said he’d make a notation and I could get a refund or my order replaced. 5 Hours later, I returned with the food and requested a refund. It took the cashier about 10 minutes to retrieve my money. As she is handing me the refund she told me and I quote”next time we won’t be able to give you your money back.” I immediately got upset and another person, a white lady with blonde hair, intervened and told me to calm down and then begin to insult my intelligence by saying The cashier meant no harm. She was just requesting my information to compensate me further. Be mindful the cashier had No pen, no paper or no way of documenting who I was. To act as if you’re doing me a favor after serving me a raw burger, where I could have potentially got sick from and having an issue with refunding me, my money is absurd and will be the reason why I will encourage everybody to keep your receipts and check your order prior to departing because they will make you feel as if you’re the restaurant serving raw food. I really wish I would have gotten names because I am so offended by my experience there. I had to pay to drive back up there an additional $25 so I’m negative money right now and for them to make me feel as if I did something wrong. I am so offended and I really hope that they do not treat other customers like that.

I used to frequent Pappas Burgers 15-20 years ago and somehow lost touch with them, but after having lunch there earlier this week, I can confidently say it’s just as good as I remembered. Big, juicy burgers paired with fresh cut fries and crispy onion rings. Simple, classic, and done right.
This visit was a great reminder of why they were a favorite back then. I’ll definitely be adding Pappas Burgers back until the rotation the next time I’m craving a really good burger.

Great place to go with friends and date, just great food. Order at counter, but service at table is still a thing. Great salads, addicting, you get your money’s worth in taste. The French fries are a little salty, but you can request no salt. Yummy, no matter what you order. Any out of towners, I would definitely bring here.

Absolutely loved our visit to Pappas Burger in Houston! The burger and fries were top-notch — juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the food came out hot and fresh.
