This is the first time my wife and I have stopped at this location. We were looking to have lunch. the establishment was extremely clean. the service was professional and polite. my wife recommends the ribs and macaroni salad. i will tell you that this establishment has one of the best hamburgers. i had the bacon burger which he’s and it was delicious, the meat was so fresh I don’t think they had ever been frozen ( they were also handmade). the food was delicious, and worth everything penny.

Chopped beef sandwich was the driest I have ever tasted at a Pappas chain. The fries were cold, I had to ask for fries cooked to order (as other Pappas restaurants cook fries to order) The manager was on duty but did not acknowledge my dissatisfaction. Sadly I will not be returning to this location. I rather drive to the best chain on 59 Southwest freeway, this location will not last long with 3.9 star review. Do better or just shut it down.
In the hospitality/food/restaurant industry there’s so many places to choose in Houston.
People work hard for their earnings and look forward to a good lunch or dinner at the beginning, middle or end of the day.
I look forward to the automatic response offering a gift card, which is insulting so impersonal and not customer service friendly. No thank you

The brisket is very good. Nice and tender. Very Good flavor. No sauce needed. The pork sausage is good. Nothing special. Smoked turkey is good. Again, nothing special. I probably should have gotten the pulled pork. The potato salad was to sweet for my liking. Couldn’t get past the first bite. The green beans were bland, cold, and a little to al dente for me. Had they been seasoned better I would have eaten them. My wife liked them and The portion size was good. The music was good and the chairs were some of the most comfortable chairs I have sat on in a restaurant. The staff was very nice.

They have messed up my order 3 times now when trying to order through door dash( 2 times) and through the drive-thru. They taste amazing but they have messed up back to back 3 times and it’s disappointing to say the least. The current mess up is with a whole 1/2chicken and sausage combo missing and none of the sides for that combo even in the bag. And when I called it was more of a “welp that sucks for you’ vibe instead of some sort of accountability. Truly unfortunate so go to eat in person if you ever come to this spot. Very disappointed

I ordered the two-meat combo with brisket and beef sausage, along with potato salad and sweet potatoes. The brisket had good flavor but was cold and a bit dry when served, while the sweet potatoes were the highlight of my meal. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by spotting a roach on the wall near our table. It ran under the wooden board, and while it never touched the food, the sight made it difficult to continue eating and left me feeling uneasy.

My second time of going to this very location. The potato brisket posted with Mac and Cheese are some of my favorite meal to order at this location. Parking is great, customer service experience was good and food was ready at exactly 10min. No wait time. Note: I went around 5pm

Great food, service has improved behind the counter. We’ve been dining in and picking up orders to go since they opened. However, they need to work out a better system when it’s packed specifically when picking up orders. As a customer on the outside waiting, it looks very confusing and customers don’t help. Please work on getting orders to go correct. It’s stressful to get home and find out you have sides or bread missing.

I just bought a chopped beef sandwich with fries and the sandwich had pieces of fatty meat and no meat at all, and I paid almost $20. They should put meat in it, not just the fat, because not everyone likes to eat the fatty part of the meat, and it’s not fair that I paid and couldn’t eat it.

I came to this place to order some beef ribs platter with dirty rice and baked beans. The meat was horrible. It was tough and it was not trouble. I wasted $35. I would never come to this place ever again. The food is horrible.

I love this restaurant but don’t ever order a salad. I spent $15 for lettuce and a few pieces of chicken. So disappointed. I got the wrong dressing and no utensils so now I am stuck eating with my hands. The chicken tastes delicious but overall, a horrible value for the buck. While the chicken was tasty and the salad was the perfect size, it would be nice to have a variety of more veggies in there.
