We were sat immediately and taken to the far back. Table 6. Mya was our waitress and took 20 minutes before greeting us and taking our drink order. 7 minutes after that she had returned with our waters. Atmosphere was basic, not busy for a Thursday night. 15 minutes into sitting at the table I had approached the front desk asking for a menu so we could check out what to eat and was told my server would bring it. Asking who our server was she pointed to a direction but took no initiative to grab the server and explain they had a new table. After being served food which is shown in photos, (pretty good fish nothing to write home about, decent fried shrimp, good gumbo and mid gator tail) we had one water refill request. Server had mentioned she would come back with a water. 30 minutes later she came back asking what else we would like and we asked for that water. 5 minutes after she left, someone else brought the water. Asked for the ticket and even that took 15 minutes. The food being cooked was faster than anything Mya had done at our table all night. Been here multiple times, 5-10 at this very location, This visit by far was the worst experience we’ve had even comparing it to having Covid at Papasitos next door in 2020. If this was my only experience I would not recommend this location.

We had such a great experience at Pappadeaux. Our server, Morgan, was attentive without being overwhelming, checked on us at the perfect times, and made sure everything came out exactly how we wanted.
The food arrived fresh, hot, and beautifully prepared. The seafood was flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the sides complemented the dish really well. You can tell they take pride not only in the quality of their food but also in how they treat their guests.
Overall, the service made the experience memorable. Friendly, efficient, and genuinely hospitable. Definitely a place we’d come back to for both the food and the experience!

Hard to believe it was my first time at a Pappadeux..we arrived and we’re told it would be a 15 to 20 min wait though there was several empty tables on a week night. We were eventually seated and another 10 mins later our server came by, she was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the menu. We got the sea bass and tilapia..both were very good. The bill was quite high mostly due to the sea bass but it was a delicious meal and our drinks were great too

This was our first visit to Pappadeaux‘s. We didn’t know what to expect as far as food or prices, but everything was very delicious and reasonably priced. Our server, Briana B, was very attentive and even offered us a dessert for it being our first time at Pappadeaux. Will definitely be returning, especially for the crab and spinach dip. I could go and eat only that and be satisfied.

Service was top tier. Had one minor issue with how a dish was prepared but the manager Taylor was magnificent. She came to our table to find out exactly what the issue was and had the dish prepared how we wanted it. Our server was also great. I enjoy my experience everytime I go.

I had the crawfish ettoufee and it was good. There was a decent amount of crawfish on a soft bed of rice. The staff was very nice and attentive.
The atmosphere is very much like a lively lunch vibe. It surprisingly got filled up even before noon. I’ll have to come back to try the gator nuggets.

Went to Pappadeaux’s (near NRG) on Sunday 9/21/25. Service was just okay, but I think our server may have been fairly new.
However, I’ve been getting the same dish for years. Therefore, I know the amount you’re supposed to get as well as the quality.

This day, I don’t know what happened….had this huge white plate and barely 3/4 had food on it. The other fourth of the plate houses a wedge of lemon. Sometimes a manager will walk the floor asking how everything was, but not this day. After inquiring that week, I found out the manger that day was Taylor Pringle, I believe.
In all honesty, I wasn’t in the mood to complain that day because it was busy and I wasn’t looking for a scene. But quality management missed the mark that day for sure. And when more than one person at the table orders the same dish, they should come out looking the same. It was unacceptable…..do better.

PAPPADEAUX 610 THEY COULD NEVER MAE ME HATE YOU! And Journey is why. She showed composure, grace, and gave me and my family excellent service for my birthday even after being sat near closing time. She was patient, quick, and attentive. And get into pic! THE FOOD NEVER MISSES. One thing the Pappas Bros know how to do, is BE CONSISTENT! Check out Pappadeaux on South Loop near NRG and if youre lucky, JOURNEY will have an open table for you! Thanks Pappadeaux!

First time hitting up a Pappadeaux spot and it was an amazing experience. I had the Salmon Alexander with shrimp scallops and crawfish and it was delicious. The Dirty rice was absolutely tasty. Service was top tier and they really took care of us.

First and foremost I had called before arriving and the host explained that Bonnie would be serving but was unsure of his shift. I had experienced him as my waiter late last year around September 2025 with a few other family members. So before arriving we had looked forward to at least being seated in his section. Where do I start, this particular location is not a “fan favorite” location of ours but it is closer to the Pearland area. I visited this location on 2/21/26 for my birthday with a party of 5 people. We checked in at the host section and were told our table would not be ready until 30 minutes. So we proceeded to sit outside and wait. After 15 minutes we go back in just to be told that after 2 minutes of checking in that our table was ready and a text was sent. (Text was never received). The host explained that after text is sent out and no response is received via the guest a 5 minute grace period is given. We then had to wait additional 10 more minutes since our name was no longer active on the waiting list and after complaining the manager assisted with getting us seated. After being seated finally, we receive a waitress by the name of Morgan. (She was very poor in providing customer service). She never stated her name, and she was not attentive AT ALL. She focused all her attention to the table that was seated after us. We had to chase her down for questions and even to place our order, my mom ordered a sangria margarita swirl and received a sangria wine. Our food was not hot and we had to ask after seeing the opposing table get theirs if ours would be out shortly. A year prior I came to pappadeaux on 2/21/25 for my birthday and I had a large party of 12 and had this same waiter(what a coincidence). Keep in mind that at that time due to our large party and wanting to be seated in her section(due to us having her before with a good experience) we had to wait extremely long in addition to gratuity being added (Which we expected). However, after my party left the table Morgan stopped my mother and expressed that she did a lot of work and should have been compensated more for a tip on top of the gratuity she had already received. I’ve never had someone chase after my guest over an additional tip, by far tasteless, unprofessional, and tacky. People, please do not waste your time at this location. This was my LAST TIME at this place. Go to downtown or 59 pappadeaux.
