Celebrated mom’s birthday. Called ahead and made reservations for a large party, no problem. Didn’t take long to seat us all when we arrived. Kids had fun with kid menus, but drinks are not included. Our server, Rene was professional, helpful and nice. Birthday mom was happy and treated to dessert which was special. Everyone enjoyed the food and service which was pretty fast for a large party.

I would normally give them a 5 star rating, but my crawfish platter was half empty this time. After I pointed it out to my waiter, he took care of me immediately. Just sucks that I had to say anything at all. For $35, they shouldn’t skimp on the mud bugs.

Overall the experience food and service are really nice. The consistency is not balanced. Each dish is made fresh, and so we have had consistent issues with the food in the same dish being hot. It is usually sent back, but with the price point being high, I would expect better.

I was here recently for dinner and the service was terrible!!! I sat at the bar because there was a long wait for a table (which I was happy to do). It took about 45 minutes for my food to come out. The flavor was good. However, my food was cold. The bar tender took the silverware and lemon out of it and sent it back to the kitchen for them to reheat it. When she brought it back a few minutes later, I ended up waiting another 5 minutes to get silverware from her, and I also asked for another lemon to squeeze over the top of my seafood, which she never gave to me. It was only lukewarm when she brought it back, but I just refused to send it back again for safety reasons. As I’m eating my meal, I see that everyone around me received a loaf of bread with their dinner or beforehand, but I was never brought bread. I then asked for bread to go with my meal. There was an older couple next to me that kept trying to get the bartender’s attention in order to get their check, and she walked by them several times to no avail. It was so bad that a patron sitting on the other side of me called the bartender several times in order to help get the couples check for them. The environment at the bar was not warm nor welcoming at all! I’ve been to another location before and loved the food and service. That is what brought me to try it in a different city. I was shocked that the service was this bad. I ended up boxing it up and warming the food up in my hotel room that night. Although the interior and exterior was appealing and the food was flavorful, I was unfortunately disappointed with my experience at this location.

We flew into DFW Airport and was starving of hunger! The first stop was Pappadeaux. Here, we had very good cocktails, Crumbed Aligator as a side and salmon fish with prawns served on a bed of rice and greenbeans. The food was flavourful, and the service was outstanding.

The shrimp pictured had less taste than the butter I piled them in for this picture. I’ve never had a bad experience at Pappadeux’s before today, but I’ll avoid this location ongoing. Wife’s food order was changed by the manager since the crab cake wasn’t available after waiting an hour. Then my food arrived 15 minutes after I flagged our server down. We were there 1:45 and nobody cared or said anything as we sat there waiting. It wasn’t busy, but just poor everything.
