We went here for our anniversary. I would suggest making a reservation although you don’t have to. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is perfect, rustic mixed with class. The service was outstanding. The only this issue I can see is, the servers may be over extended with their tables. I would have liked to have seen just a little more table service. Treat yourself and try this place.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Pappadeaux’s Seafood Kitchen. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The crawfish étouffée was rich and flavorful, and the crab spinach dip was creamy and perfectly seasoned.
Dessert was the highlight—we shared the banana cheesecake, sweet potato pecan pie, and the chocolate fudge brownie, and each one was indulgent and memorable. You can really tell care goes into both the food and presentation.
The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the service made our visit even better. Definitely a spot we’ll return to when craving great seafood and desserts!

Our family came to celebrate a birthday, the wait was about 15 min. After we were seated there was a bit of a wait before our server came. I can say the server was so attentive and knowledgeable, and told us about the changes to the menu. The appetizers we chose were the crab cakes and gator bites, and they did not disappoint. The crab cakes were 98% crab and the biggest I’ve ever seen. They weren’t just big and full of meat, but delicious and full of flavor. The gator bites were hot, crispy, tender and full of flavor as well. The entrees ordered were, fried catfish, shrimp, mussels, clams, fries, red beans and rice and pasta primavera. The fish I felt needed a bit more seasoning, however overall everything was hot fresh and delicious. The pasta dish was made to accommodate the vegetarian in our group, and it was amazing. The portions are huge and I felt reasonably priced. Desert was amazing, we ordered key lime pie with whipped cream and sweet potato pecan pie with ice cream. It was truly the cherry on top of a fantastic night. The atmosphere was perfect just so enjoyable. When I visit again I plan on returning to try more from the menu, great job Pappadeaux❤️

The most important, the food was great! I was a little disappointed that despite having indicated during the online reservation that the dinner was to celebrate a birthday, the hostess didn’t acknowledge it upon our arrival. I then subtly mentioned to the person who showed us to our table that my partner was celebrating a birthday, and she then wished him a happy birthday. The waiter provided excellent service, but again, he didn’t acknowledge the birthday at all until I indirectly mentioned it to him at the end of the meal, and even then, they brought the dessert without a candle. I believe that if the intention was clearly stated during the reservation, the restaurant should take the reason for the visit seriously. I 100% recommend the crawfish and shrimp fondue and the sausage and seafood gumbo.

Me and my fiancé drove 1.5 hours from TN just to eat a Pappadeaux, We usually eat at the Alpharetta location but we decided to give this one a try. We was totally disappointed! The waitress was wonderful but the food… absolutely trash. This fried shrimp, my fiancée’s favorite, was had black veins. It They weren’t thin either. They were big enough that they were pushing through the fried breading. Her red beans and rice looked different from the Alpharetta location they were more soupy and didn’t look appealing. The flavor was decent though. My favorite is the shrimp brochette. It’s a grilled bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese. I asked my fiancé if she wanted one of my shrimp spice hers had those large unappealing veins. As soon as she took a bite, she immediately spit it out in a napkin. I bite into mine and spit it out as well. The texture was so weird. The bacon was so stretchy. The shrimp so tough. Upon inspection, we realized that the shrimp which was a clear gray color was not cooked and the bacon around it was only sheared on one small part and the rest of it wasn’t done either. This was absolutely unexpected and could’ve mad us sick had we consumed it. The dirty rice that came with my meal tasty like just rice. Where’s the dirty??? The baked potatoes we both had were hard in the middle. The guest which were all adults were loud. One mature lady was yelling at the top of her lungs while telling a story. One group were loud as if they were outdoors and so amped up that one man fell out of his chair. It was so different from the Alpharetta environment. The only good things were the patron margaritas and the spinach and crab dip. We will never visit the Marietta location again. We will just stick to Alpharetta.

I was visiting my cousin for Thanksgiving and one of my close friends recommended that I come to this restaurant while I was there. So we decided to go to lunch the day after Thanksgiving. It was absolutely hustling and bustling.
I wish I could have tried everything on the menu, but we decided to split two meals because neither of us had been there.
We had the shrimp and grits and the baked sea bass, with a side of garlic bread to sop up the juices. All I can say is, that was one of the greatest meals I’ve had in a long time. The service was outstanding, but even more so everybody around us were like family. Everyone carried on conversations and wanted to know what something tasted like. It was one of the greatest eating experiences because it felt like you were at home, rather than an individualized, compartmentalized restaurant. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that, but Pappadeaux’s anything but that.
My mouth absolutely flipped over the incredible flavors that were being put into it. The sea bass was perfect in every way, but the shrimp and grits, that was a twist that I didn’t expect. It wasn’t like your typical, south carolina or traditional shrimp and grits… it was the perfect combination of unexpected flavors.
I literally took pictures of the meal and sent them immediately to my friend, who recommended it, and I said, we have to make a day trip down to atlanta, just to eat and then go back home.

Went to pappadeaux yesterday for an early dinner with my family, in an attempt to eat before heading out later for the evening.
We made reservations online for 4:30pm, and arrived at the restaurant hostess stand by 4:15pm. We immediately checked in, it was two hostess outside ensuring only customers whose tables were ready allowed in and those we wanted to go to the bar. It was a Saturday, so packed out is an understatement but it seemed to have a flow going on.
When we checked in, the hostesses stated they checked us in and would have a table ready shortly. Well we waited, it’s an outside seating area with decent lounge chairs and such, we waited there. Now the concerns enter around this time, it was pretty humid out due to the weather and small flying bugs, not holding the restaurant responsible for this but it does start to set the tone for the experience when you’re in muggy weather and waiting to go inside. It was now 4:30 and we hadn’t received our text yet, and by 4:45 I went back to the hostess to inquire on how long we’d be waiting, she stated it was 5 tables in front of us, which was baffling because we had a reservation, the 5 tables ahead of us came with no inclination of how much longer that met we’d have to wait but seeing they were overwhelmed and managing the large crowds I put my patience hat on.
About 5 minutes later, we got a table. We make it inside and yes it packed but still a nice flow going on. The food and appetizers didn’t take long to come out and everything was delicious, the biggest reservation during this time was the servers, they were all running around and understandably trying to manage all their tables, however, it was overstimulating in the since that we were neglected, drinks barely refilled, server barely seen, and definitely no personable interaction, and that was disappointing merely because they have table runners : servers that strictly pick up dishes and deliver the food, relieving the server of some of their typical task I assume to make it easier for them so it must’ve been a disconnect somewhere but nonetheless the experience was good and food great!

As a first timer, I was absolutely out done. Everything was Delicious. I was so impressed by the red beans and rice that I longed for more in the later weeks following this visit. I’m a saucer, so I’m always game to restaurants house made sauces. That tartar sauce was spot on! As well as the catfish!

The place is fun and festive.
The service was good.
The salsa was great. The beer was ice cold. I took the recommendations of the server. I had the fajitas, and did not regret it. It came with shrimp, steak, and chicken. The shrimp is bacon wrapped, and it was good. The chicken was excellent, moist and tender. The star of the show was that steak though. It absolutely crushed! I followed it up with the pecan ice cream desert, it was bland and unexciting. I should have gotten the tres leches.
