Great sandwiches – the one place in town that actually puts enough meat on the sandwich. The breads they use are fantastic as well. The box lunches (catering menu) are great for meetings both small and large. The service is exemplary as well.

Genuinely so delicious. Was recommended this place but a local and I’m so glad the husband and I stopped in. We got a caramel marshmallow latte thing that tasted like campfire toasted marshmallows, but we were there specifically because we wanted pastries. He got a Danish and I got the triple very muffin and honestly both were absolutely divine. I love a blueberry muffin as it is, but theirs are so soft and they don’t slump even a little on the very flavor. The Danish was delightfully flaky and filled with a praline sort of filling, which was just the right amount of sweet. Highly recommend getting your baked goods warmed as well! Well be coming here again next time we’re in Springfield

Had a girls brunch here. The ordering system was very easy and they have a great selection. Food came out fast and the gentleman that helped behind the counter was awesome! He had a great sense of humor dealing with us girls! Definitely will be returning!

The Staple nails over 30 grams of protein in a single breakfast sandwich. House made egg patties, cheddar, bacon (or sausage)—simple, familiar, but in perfect balance. It’s rare to have an option for breakfast with this much protein. For anyone looking for a filling, healthy option to start their day, this is it!!

Stopped in here for the first time for a quick breakfast. We liked the ordering process. We placed our order at the counter and then seated ourselves. Our food was brought out a very short time later. It is a very clean, nice restaurant. They have an outdoor patio as well. When we were done eating we simply bussed our table and left. Super easy.
The food was fantastic. We had a breakfast bowl, a bagel breakfast sandwich and an oatmeal. No one was disappointed. My breakfast bowl was very flavorful and the avocado and chorizo sausage was awesome. The oatmeal and bagel were also very good I was told. We cleaned our plates! I would definitely go back. Delicious!

On my way to St Louis from Chicago to followup on police report from when our car was broken into. Stopped in Springfield, when we found this lovely family-friendly cafe with a welcoming atmosphere.
The cashier suggested the cinnamon roll. Upon it arriving to the table, to our surprise it was much bigger than expected. The taste was exquisite. Also got Sante Fe burritos (without chorizo of course, save the animals), which was delicious. As well as the avocado toast which was just alright.
Had a lovely conversation about the new wife swap episode while enjoying our food and coffee. Coffee was quite delicious. I would recommend the Cocomellow latte to anyone stopping by, hopefully under different circumstances than our own.
Unfortunately, we were unable to tip do to the sins committed against us in St Louis. but we definitely would have!

Everything on the menu has pork or dairy and ordering without either leaves you with nothing. I ordered a veggie quiche today and while eating it, noticed it’s full of HAM. This is the second time this has happened. A few months ago, I had ordered a Santa fe bowl with turkey sausage… next time I tried to order the same thing, they said, “We dont have turkey sausage and we have never had it.” So i guess I ate pork unknowingly then… great! Thanks guys.
Not to mention, I unfortunately just found out that their politics absolutely suck.

Delicious bold coffee and healthy food at reasonable prices! Pretty much the best caramel latte I’ve ever had – Starbucks or Dunkin don’t come anywhere close to this coffee!
All of the sandwiches are great, and taste unique because they often come on an everything bagel instead of bread.
Definitely stop by this place when around Springfield!
