Papi’s Tacos could be described as a “food truck without wheels”. The menu is short and simple. Tacos, tortas, salsas and dips – all made using the same authentic flavor combinations that “Papi” and his family grew up learning to use (yes, there is a real Papi!). Fresh ingredients, handled with care and love, make all the difference. Easy to order and take to go. Our tacos are the kind that Papi and his family enjoy at home. Tortas are so simple yet packed with so much flavor in an easy carry out sandwich. A selection of house made salsas, bean dip and guacamole to round out a quick meal or snack. Throw in a few traditional Mexican beverages and you’re good to go!

Sad, sad tacos.
I really wanted to like this place, but it was a big disappointment. The tacos were very small for the price, and overall not worth what we paid. We ordered al pastor, and the meat was extremely dry and lacked flavor.
We spent over $70 on a few burritos and tacos, but our order was missing items that were supposed to be included—chips, beans, and rice. For families, a heads up: the kids’ fish taco had bones in it.
Customer service was also pretty subpar. There was no courteous greeting or even a quick intro, and we mentioned it was our first time there. It didn’t feel welcoming, and combined with the food issues, it just wasn’t a great experience. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

I love Papi’s! They do a 3/$12 taco Tuesday deal that’s hard to beat with quality ingredients + huge portions. Their choriqueso is . Everyone who works here is so sweet I will keep coming back.

Tacos were delicious! The service was fantastic! We caught Taco Tuesday 3 for $12 and they were all fantastic. The shrimp taco, birria, and steak are were our favorites! The chorizo queso was creamy with a hint of spice. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. The hot sauce on the taco has a great spice level. Would 100% recommend it in the Falls Park area! Just a short walk from the Courtyard Marriott!

I stepped foot into Papi’s Tacos one afternoon, not expecting that my entire world was about to change. Welcomed, invited, and captured by the charming smile of Nury, the lovely owner, I knew I was in for a treat. The tacos were incredible. I was swept off my feet. We needed something quick as we were in between appointments but didn’t want fast food. It was Tuesday, so we caught Taco Tuesday. Our server, Pearl, while fairly new to the area was an absolute delight and made sure we had everything we needed to get in a out. My husband and I both ordered two tacos each and they were stuffed full and quite tasty.
We had our dogs with us out on the patio and really enjoyed the atmosphere and wonderful weather. We didn’t have tie for margaritas this time, but will definitely be back to try the chips an queso!

We originally came here because we have heard great things. It was great to experience, but it was a one time thing. The service was great. They were all super friendly and inviting. It’s a very calming atmosphere by the river. The food was edible, but not near as great as I have read and heard about. The steak was very chewy (tasted like it was frozen and then thawed while cooking) and needed more flavor.

Nuri was the best! She topped my drink as she met my group outside and then made sure we all had a good experience. She fixed my friend’s and my meal when we weren’t satisfied and made sure we got our moneys worth. Also her margarita was amazing!
