Reviews
Atmosphere and Service: 6.4/10 – The restaurant has a typical eat-in pizza place vibe, with a clean and fresh interior that reflects its newness. The food was ready on time, enhancing the overall experience. However, the website could use improvements, especially with the lack of specialty pizzas listed on the online menu.
Cheese Pizza: 7.4/10 – A very tasty pizza with perfectly cooked dough and added oil and seasoning that elevate the flavor. The crust was fairly crispy with minimal flop, making it satisfying to eat. However, the lack of a medium size option felt limiting, as only personal or 18-inch sizes were available. The price was slightly high.
Alfredo Pasta: 6.7/10 – A fresh and flavorful dish with perfectly cooked penne. While the taste was excellent, the portion size felt small for the price. Offering optional add-ons like chicken or broccoli would have been a great way to improve both value and customization.
Bruschetta: 3.5/10 – The ingredients were fresh and the flavors were good, but the bread was soft rather than the crisp, crunchy texture expected from a proper bruschetta. This inconsistency significantly detracted from the overall appeal of the dish.
Typically a pizza of this size would definitely be priced higher. The pizza has a nice crispness to the underside keeping it from flopping too much. The pizza wasn’t greasy at all like you’d expect from the number of toppings but that could be due to it being a chicken pizza. Best part was the freshness of the toppings (very happy they don’t use canned mushrooms, a big pet peeve of mine) and flavor of the buffalo sauce.
I can’t wait to try some of their other selections and suggest everyone give it a shot.
The supreme pizza I was given had fresh, uncooked veggies. RIP Salvios
I really wanted to like Papi’s Pizza, but unfortunately it just didn’t deliver.
1. The wings – I’m a chef, and I can say with confidence these were precooked and then dropped again. They were so dry they literally crumbled off the bone like chalk. Easily some of the worst I’ve had.
2. The ravioli – You get four medium/large pieces. They smelled better than they tasted. The marinara was extremely garlicky (which I usually love), but there was no real tomato flavor or balance from herbs or spices.
3. The pizza – Decent, but definitely needed more sauce and a better cook on top. The peppers were still raw, and the cheese wasn’t fully melted.
To top it off, they didn’t even have parmesan, and for $56, I expected way more. Overall, disappointing.
