My husband and I decided to stop in on our way home from the Christmas parade. We were wonderfully surprised at how excellent our meal was. We started with the skewers (shrimp) and the sauce used was so delicious. He had the stuffed manicotti with green beans, they were seasoned and flavored very well. I had the bow ties with chicken in a pesto sauce with zucchini and broccoli. The flavors came together so perfectly, it didn’t take long to clean my plate. Our waitress was attentive and the chef came to check on our meal as well. It was a little longer wait for our food than expected, but it was worth the delicious homemade food we were presented with. Was passing through Lucedale MS and went on Google to find a great restaurant and up pops this 5 star restaurant. I should have used better judgement when I only saw 5 cars in the parking lot but I was so hungry I ignored common sense and went in. Beautiful place the man playing piano and the atmosphere gets 5 stars but the service and the food were terrible. A patron there at the restaurant sat us down and informed us the waitress would be with us shortly. Waitress was very nice but wasn’t attentive at all. We never got nor were asked for refills. The appetizer came which was an 8$ blooming onion that was raw in the middle. Less than a minute went by and out came our food one by one by one. The food tasted like it was frozen and warmed in the microwave. Terrible service, terrible food and extremely over priced!
