The food has been fabulous and this is my favorite place to get pizza and Italian fries with cheese in the Schofield, Rothschild, Weston, and Wausau area. Don’t bother going to the pizza chains because you don’t get good quality for your money. The Italian fries at Papillon’s are the best tasting and the best value in town. Loaded with cheese, brushed with garlic butter, and the ranch and red sauce is the best anywhere. The pizza is loaded with cheese as well and super tasty! I eat here twice a month and the food and service has been fast and friendly, and what you would expect from a local Italian restaurant. They have other great menu items as well and a rewards program.

I have loved Papillon’s and their food since I was little, and it has always been one of my favorite places. Everything they make is just so good — you truly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Recently, I’ve had the chance to get to know Jennifer, (the owner) personally, and seeing the heart and soul she puts into every single order has made me love Papillon’s even more. You can feel the care, passion, and pride that goes into everything they do, and it absolutely shows in the food.

Stopped for lunch today I had their Rueben sandwich which was good while my husband had Special of the day sandwich that had fried onions and mushrooms on it, that he really enjoyed we had started off with cheese curds for an appetizer that were delicious. My Rueben had the typical fatty pieces of corned beef that I trimmed off (I’m picky).

If I could give negative stars I would. First off prices online were wrong. False advertising. Second this was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I asked for it well done and got it back damn near raw and it wasn’t even cut. I checked before leaving so I asked them if they could put it in longer and cut it better. The pizza looked better but then after checking the bottom there was as much cheese under as on top and little burnt pieces all over. Clean your oven! That’s not the worst part though. They put a piece of wax newspaper or something under the pizza and the ink from it melted into the pizza!!! INK IN THE PIZZA!!! How dumb could you be. I can’t believe the good reviews here. No sauce, no flavor, and no common sense. Absolutely terrible. Would’ve rather bought a frozen pizza

Was here with me mum niece and sister. And close friends. They no longer live here in WI and cheese fries are not found outside of Wisconsin. (Not real cheese fries) and Papillons is the #1 best choice for some pizza fries (Italian fries) absolutely love this place and I could eat it every day. The staff, the environment, everything is outstandingly good vibes. Love the food. Great place for the best pizza fries. I can’t say enough good about this restaurant.

Extremely Disappointed!!!! This place USED TO BE the go to place for Gluten Free Italian fries…. today, they stopped making their own. What I ordered was 20 times thicker than what I recieved! Look at the old photos that people have posted, then look at this tortilla thin garbage! AND IT STILL COSTED THE SAME!!!

Their food is terrible the pizza size is good but very thin and dry no flavored had the mac and cheese pizza and barely any mac and cheese and actual cheese just not good, there cinnamon knows were very hard and very hard to chew and their canolis were very hard shell with very few chocolate chips overall the food was bad. Wouldn’t recommend it
