My visit to Papillon was absolutely wonderful. The food, service, and overall ambiance were truly exceptional. I especially appreciated the excellent customer service, and the restaurant’s setup felt like something straight out of a movie. I honestly wish I lived in Miami because this would definitely be my go-to spot. I have no complaints at all—thank you for such a great experience! I will definitely be back before I head home.

Bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was outstanding. Butter soft croissant, two thick crispy strips of bacon, yummy melted cheese, and eggs cooked to perfection. Take our order was ready within minutes of ordering with flawless pick up. Really impressed with this breakfast sandwich.

This was a pretty good place for breakfast. I ordered a platter for the table and it was tasty and filling. We opted to sit outside at a table. Lastly, I did not think the baguette would be needed for breakfast. I was wrong! It is made fresh and it perfectly complemented our meal. Papillon was a great choice, delivering great service and all for a decent price.

My first visit wasn’t great, but it’s a new place and I think they’re still figuring things out.
I also feel like I ordered poorly. The patatas bravas were massively over salted, and the pork dish that looks and tastes like cheap steak was also a bit too salty.
Also, the service wasn’t very good, but mostly because there was only one waiter on a Saturday evening with a fairly full restaurant.
For now, I’m giving them four stars, but if they weren’t new, this would definitely be a three star review. I’ll try them again soon and see if things go better.

One of the best Spanish places in Miami. The owner/chef is so nice & makes delicious food. The calamari is actually made from fresh squid & tastes amazing. Oxtail paella was delicious as well. The desserts were amazing, the basque cheesecake & the rice pudding. Super reasonably priced as well.

Papillon By The Beach in Miami Beach is a wonderful restaurant that transports you straight to the heart of Spain! I had the pleasure of living in Barcelona, Valencia and Malaga so that I have an appreciation for tasty, high quality Spanish cuisine. Papillon also won a TripAdvisor excellence award.
From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality by our host and the manager made us feel right at home. The food is very tasty. The cod croquettes were crispy, creamy, and unforgettable.
There is also a breakfast menu, served all day, is a delightful surprise with fresh, creative options. The staff, especially our server Nicolas, went above and beyond, offering local insights and making the experience even more special. The manager’s personal touch, stopping by to see how our experience was, elevated our meal. I also love that they have another location in Downtown Miami, which is just as cozy and perfect for a quick coffee or a hearty meal when exploring the city. Whether you’re in Miami Beach or Downtown, Papillon is a nice stop for incredible Spanish cuisine, generous portions, and a welcoming vibe. Highly recommend for anyone craving a taste of Spain with a side of Miami charm!

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our visit to Pavilion restaurant.
As soon as we sat down, the waitress came to take our order way too quickly—I hadn’t even had a chance to look at the menu yet. We politely asked her to come back in 2 minutes, but instead she returned after about 10 minutes.
My husband specifically asked for our coffee to go. The waitress repeated the request and confirmed that the coffee would be in to-go cups, so it was clearly understood. However, the coffee was brought in regular cups. When we pointed this out, she did not remake the drinks. Instead, she simply poured the already served coffee into disposable cups, with no foam and no proper presentation. This felt very unprofessional.
I ordered the Salmon Plate, and the food presentation was also disappointing. The tomatoes and onions were cut into very large, rough chunks, making the dish uncomfortable to eat. The plating looked careless and not at all what you would expect from a restaurant.
Additionally, a 20% service fee was automatically added to the bill, but this was not disclosed anywhere in advance—not on the menu and not mentioned by the staff. We only found out when we received the check, which I find misleading and unacceptable.
Overall, the service lacked attention to detail, the food presentation was poor, and the pricing was not transparent. We will not be returning.

We loved the food so much we came back for seconds.First off it was delicious!!!!!!!! We expected tourist food but got high end local. The portion sizes were more than generous you will be stuffed. The fresh OJ is Floridian approved, the best. My gluten free friends they made the breakfast tacos with GF wrap it was amazing. please get it!!! Service was friendly and atmosphere inviting.

OMG this place was absolute gas. It was so cute. I couldn’t stand it. This was the first breakfast meal we had in Miami. Let me tell you they brought out a breakfast platter on a wooden board that was filled with bread mushroom sausages you have to look at the picture that was so much delicious food it would make you cry then they have this little Photobooth area where they have an old-school phone on the wall they have like lights and it’s just a good atmosphere. It’s a small but very tasty done and the food is phenomenal. I promise you.
