This is literally my favorite burger spot in Orlando. Thankfully I live just a few minutes walk from here! Nahja is always so welcoming and friendly & gives great customer service. Matt in the kitchen is quick and everything comes out soooooo good every time! Thank you guys for always being ON POINT! Oh, and the Noche En Miami is my absolute favorite burger on the menu … with yuca fries!

For my time visiting it was definitely a memorable experience. When I walked in I was greeted by Vincent. He explained the main drinks and all options. After looking over the menu I chose uuuumami papi with yuca fries; all I can say is 10/10. The decor of the restaurant had a very downtown Miami vibe with plenty of seating. I will most definitely be back as well as order for delivery.

Came to Orlando for a bartending class, got lost and came to get a burger. The sweet girl behind the counter helped me out and showed me where the classes would be. Very nice place with good burgers! Thank you for being so kind.

I tried this restaurant in Downtown Orlando. The food was okay not bad, but not great either.
The burger was just average, nothing special about the taste.
The service could be better; it was a bit slow and not very friendly.
Overall, it’s an average spot not terrible, but I probably wouldn’t rush back.

10/10 for this place!! Been wanting to come here for a while and finally came and was not disappointed!! If anything I was sad I haven’t come sooner. Customer service was on point, food was amazing and super flavorful! The vibe was just everything including the music! Loved it and will be back soon!!

Papi Smash’d Burger occupies a familiar niche: a pseudo fast-casual stop meant to catch those heading downtown, particularly before a show at Dr. Phillips Center. It promises speed, indulgence, and comfort—expectations set by countless burger concepts before it. Unfortunately, while it meets the minimum, it never rises above it.

The space carries a post-club patina—dim, loud, and unmistakably grimy. What might read as edgy to some instead feels neglected. On our visit, the staff appeared stretched thin, with only two or three working the room. To their credit, the burgers arrived in good time, and the team did what they could within clear constraints.

The burgers themselves were adequate. The smash technique delivered a passable crust, and the flavor was decent, but nothing more. There was no sense of originality or signature—no detail that distinguished these from any number of similar counters across the country. At the price point, one hopes for either creativity or indulgence. Here, there was neither.

More telling was the feeling that followed. After finishing, I found myself still hungry, not just in appetite but in satisfaction—already thinking about what else I might eat to make the meal feel complete. That lingering desire for something better is rarely a good sign.

On flavor alone, this might approach a middle ground. But dining is more than taste. The atmosphere, the value, the sense of care, and the memory you carry out the door all matter. Taken together—the grimy setting, the thin staffing, the unremarkable food, and the price—it becomes difficult to justify a return.

In the end, Papi Smash’d Burger feels like a pale, overpriced imitation of better fast-casual burger spots. It fills a gap in a moment of convenience, but little else.

My rating: ★★☆☆☆
1 star — I will never return.
2 stars — If nearby, I might return, but without urgency.
3 stars — Worth a visit if in the area, though not a destination in itself.
4 stars — Worth going out of your way to enjoy.
5 stars — I would fly around the world for this meal.

One of my favorite places to come get a Smashburger. Everybody’s always extremely welcoming and friendly. The environment is nice kind of like a Miami feel to it. If I do have a complaint, the music is a little bit louder than my liking, but it’s worth it for the burgers

We were driving though Orlando and craving some burgers so we decided to give this place a try. The reviews are high and it makes sense because this place is absolutely delicious! The flavor on the burger was so good. The thing that really surprised me were these loaded fries that came with two burger patties and sauce. That was absolutely amazing and I thought it was even better than the burger. Highly recommend this spot because of the food and the vibes are great too. Cool spot of town and the restaurant has a bar attached to the right if that’s where you want to head next. Amazing spot!

Papi Smash Orlando is an absolute gem!

Not only is the food incredible—fresh, flavorful, and full of personality—but the people behind it truly care about the community. You can feel the love they pour into everything they do, from their delicious smash burgers to their involvement in local events and causes.

It’s rare to find a business that serves amazing food and gives back so consistently. Every visit feels like supporting family. Papi Smash Orlando isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a community staple. Highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t already!
