I ordered delivery through ubereats, man the cachapa’s may have just made my whole year. (Bold to say as the years just started.) But seriously, this was one of the best things I’ve ever had. You earned yourself a very loyal customer. Very tasty food! Next time I’ll try the tequenos and the arepas.

We used Papelon’s Food Truck for our Quinceanera Event with 70-80 guests. We avoided having to setup food in the venue. Even with so many hungry guest the food was made to order (Arepas, Cachapas and Tequenios) without a long wait. Ee had all the option of fillings on the menu!!! During peak the pagers were helpful so the guest could enjoy the party inside until the order was ready. It’s a plus if it gets a little chilly outside. At the end there was no leftover since our guest (mostly teenagers) could not stop eating. Non of the food went to waste which is amazing and showed everyone just loved the food! Service was impeccable by the friendly staff who stayed until no-one was hungry! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
P.s. Always good to try the food when popping up at the breweries in the area or at their food market in St Clair Shores!!! My personal favorites are Arepa Papelon e Arepa Reina Pepiada!

This truck was parked at the Oak Park Film Festival so I thought I would try give it a try and I’m so glad I did. I’ve never had Venezuelan food before so the man at the window gave me lots of help to figure out what to get.The wait was about 10 mins which was worth it because everything was fresh. I tried the Queen fried and my friend had the Sifrina grilled. Everything was SO YUM! Including the churros Venezuelan style which I highly recommend.

Cachapas are fresh and so delicious one of my new top 5 dishes it blew me away when I ate this dish. It had plantains bean chicken and beef the combination was out of this world it’s a must try

If you get a chance to order from the food truck….get #6. Carlos is an absolute legend for his help at Dog and Pony Show Brewery. I had no idea what I wanted and he guided me to this excellent choice. I hope I run into this gentleman again. Service with a huge smile! Thumbs up hands down!!

Food is delicious! Absolutely love the cachapas and arepas and the pastellitos are good too. The woman in the market is friendly and polite and everything is great – I just knocked off a star for being closed every Tuesday and Wednesday lol no complaints otherwise.

I was really hyped to try this but I thought the cachapa was totally flavorless… just tasted like unseasoned shredded beef inside of regular ol cornbread. Is the meat in Cachapas typically unseasoned? I have no frame of reference. Nothing notable about service or atmosphere. Wasn’t that busy and food took a while to come out. Won’t be back.

This is the food truck located outside of the Papelon Market. They also have one that travels to different venues. I’ve never had Venezuelan food before, so the people working were very helpful. I didn’t have to wait too long for my food but everything was delicious.
The prices are reasonable. The parking is close and free. Highly recommend the arepas, croffles (in the market) and a pistachio latte (in the market).

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely Truck. The service is unmatched. The owners truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely AMAZING. Don’t forget to try the TEQUEÑOS, I ordered 4 services (20 tequeños) and still want more . Highly recommend!
