Papaya Kitchen was the spot we’ve been looking for! Pho was just unbelievably tasty, aromatic and the best we’ve had in over a decade! Owner Mr. Alan was so courteous to us and made us feel so welcome. Came here on a date with my husband and we just both loved it! Best service and very generous portions. Loved both the Honey/ginger tea with its slices of ginger and the freshly made to order lemonade. Cannot go wrong with these selections! On the house ice cream and even packaged the portion of my meal I could sadly not eat haha The chicken and shrimp spring rolls with the peanut sauce topped with house made chili sauce was also our fave! We can’t wait to come back. Thankful for his kindness and feeling of just slowing down and enjoying a very tasty meal. ❤️

customer service was 10/10. i am so glad i found an AUTHENTIC pho place close by downtown dallas. we got two bowls of beef pho, one bowl of the wonton soup (which WAS AMAZING) and the eggrolls were sooo filling, i cannot wait to come back here! we also got icecream on the house after we were done eating, which was so sweet and thoughtful. this is absolutely going to be our pho place. also we got the #21 on the menu for my daughter, the chicken is IMMACULATE and the plate was huge we had to take it home for leftovers!!!

It was one of those rainy Dallas days where all you want is something warm and comforting, so I stopped by Papaya Kitchen craving a hot bowl of pho. I ordered No. 16 (Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup), and it hit the spot perfectly. The broth was simple, clean, and flavorful without being heavy. Fresh herbs, crisp bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños on the side made it even better.
Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Owner Alan was there and super friendly, which made the experience feel even more welcoming. If you’re looking for a no-frills, delicious bowl of pho on a gloomy day, this is a great spot.

Whether I’m dining in or taking out, I love coming here to get food. The owner and staff are incredibly nice and accommodating, and their food portion size have always left me full and satisfied (it’s a lot of food). I consistently come back for their pho, grilled chicken or pork rice/vermicelli dishes, and their house special fried rice. I definitely recommend trying this place out if you’re craving some good Vietnamese food!

1st time to try this spot out. Simple, no frills spot. Clean dining area. Fast and friendly service. Ordered the Hu Tiep Ap Chao (Stir-Fried Flat Rice Noodles) with beef ($18) and a Vietnamese iced coffee ($5). Dish needed a little more flavoring but was otherwise good. Nice portion size.

This place has decent phở. Keep in mind that beef phở only comes with eyeround steak and meat balls. The broth was refreshing. They gave so much noodle. The grilled beef egg roll noodle was good too. The owner was very friendly. The only downside was not enough meat in phở and the price is a little high compared to other places in the area.

Great hospitality. Allen was an amazing and gracious host. He gave some of his recommendations for first timers. I know their pho is one of their fortes but I wanted to try their other offerings. Banh Xeo was crispy and stuffed with meat. The coconut fragrance was a bit promenant but the flavors were on point with the right amount of lettuce and pickled daikons/ carrots to wrap. Definitely ask for the chilli oil if you want a little more punch. Hu tieu ap chao was good but I usually like it a little more burnt (preference). Classic cafe sua da and pickled lemon soda accompanied the meal well. Would definitely recommend for an authentic Vietnamese meal in Dallas. I have not been impressed with the offerings but Papaya Kitchen is giving me hope. Will return to try the pho!

We were greeted as we walked through the door. Staff was very friendly. Owner even gave us recommendations and it did not disappoint. We ordered the fried and fresh tropical spring rolls for our appetizers. We ordered the beef pho the broth was clear and not oily compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. Also the fried rice and orange chicken huge portions. We could not finish it and took left overs to go. I would definitely be back again.

Best pho I have had in Dallas. Hands down! I got it to go and it was packed so neatly and still hot after 40 minutes in traffic and it’s big enough for two ppl. Owner is also super nice!
