I came at the suggestion of a coworker and was not disappointed. The calzone was absolutely STUFFED, almost excessively so (this is not a complaint). The full pizza was also bigger than I expected with a nice crust and a cheese consistency I really enjoyed. Food trucks in hilo are really putting a lot of dine-in restaurants to shame.
Edit: Looks like it shut down, unfortunately. Such is the fate of all decent pizza places in Hawaii.

This pizza is awesome! Hilo’s been needing a place that you can just drive up and get a slice and this is it. Not only is the dough perfectly done, soft and crispy at the same time, but all the ingredients taste super fresh. And he loads them on! It’s also very affordable and he gave us a kamaaina discount! Thank you Papa’s Pizza! Hilo is stoked!
