I recently discovered Papa’s Italian restaurant in Florence, Colorado for a late lunch, and what a delightful find it was!

This unique, small family-owned spot has such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cozy setting made our dining experience feel personal and special, something you don’t often find in larger restaurants.
Delicious Italian Cuisine
While I enjoyed a late lunch here, the timing was perfect as we got to experience their authentic Italian offerings without the dinner rush. The food had that homemade quality that truly sets family restaurants apart.
Exceptional Service
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive! We were seated immediately with no wait time, which was a pleasant surprise. Everyone made us feel welcome, as if we were part of their extended family.

The food was really good. The knots could use a little more cheese and herbs. The salad was amazing. The pasta was fantastic. Really nice little restaurant. It was not busy and our waiter was very attentive.

Papa’s Pizza in Florence Colorado has a very extensive menu. My family enjoys everything from the sandwiches, to the salads, and especially to the pizza. They’re very gracious and letting you split your toppings so you do not have to order several pizzas to try several different varieties. Today we went there for salads and a boom stick. I highly recommend and we had Ronald as a server. He has an energy that is contagious. He managed to be both upbeat, but being genuine at the same time. Great experience! I highly recommend.

I’ve tried these guys about five times already, And every single time I’ve been disappointed with them. This time around I ordered a large sausage and Pueblo chili pizza, For takeout. I go there to pick it up and the girl at the front counter is wanting me to tip her SMH, I get the pizza home and there’s literally eight tiny pieces of sausage on a whole large pizza. I paid almost $30 for this pizza, and they completely ripped me off! Every time I go to this place, it’s a problem, and it’s always with the food. This is my last time ever walking into this establishment again!

Wow, what a wonderful family dining experience! Table of 10, and our Server Ronald took great care of us all!! Every detail from drinks, to apps, to the main dishes and desserts, he took great care to be sure things were refilled timely or came out to our table piping hot! The kitchen staff made incredible food for us! Highly recommend!
We tried everything from gluten free pizza, wings, calzones, garlic knots, spaghetti, to the canolis! Everything was delicious!! Take a minute to stop in for lunch or dinner!
