Their service and menu Amazing…!!!!! Beyond impressive
We found this place on Instagram Reels and decided that we would try it and drove 2 hours from Los Angeles and let me tell you it was worth the drive! The customer service was excellent I am assuming it is a family business and just wow! The cleanliness of the area and the variety of fresh water/agua frescas will certainly appease everyone taste. We ordered a chorizo loaded papas and from the first bite it was absolutely delicious. The only thing I will point out which I told the young lady taking our order was that they NEED a huge sign zip tied to their black fence or anywhere to hell find the location for non locals like us. Please support this business and family because you can tell how much effort and love they put in the food. They accept cash and card but if you use a card there is a small fee which is no big deal BUEN PROVECHO
They have 2 sizes, you only need the smallest unless you got 3+ ppl you’re feeding. Good drink selection. Pricing is ok.
Ok, it’s in a person’s backyard on a street with no street lighting. It’s weird. They’re doing well as they have 4 wheelers and big trucks, just wish they’d light the streets. I’d visit again for sure.
The Papas el Guero truck was parked at a small tiangis in Redlands on a Sunday. My husband and I just happened to pass through. I wasn’t even hungry but I decided to continue my search for a papa! Let me tell you- when I say these are THE BEST papas, I can honestly say they are. After 3 years of searching, I found the best! The papa is served in a big round tin with a plastic lid and every inch of that container is full-so much food. One taste and I didn’t even want to share with my hubby lol (but I gave him a little bite). Their salsa made it even better- I didn’t think it was possible, but it did. I ate half the tin (and I wasn’t hungry!) and saved the rest for my lunch the next day. The next day, I ate the rest of it for lunch and it was still SO GOOD!
I only wish I knew how to find out where they would be each weekend because they would have my money every week! I am a real fan of these papas. Next time I might bring home some corn too- but I’ll never pass on the papa!
