24/7 Breakfast establishment in downtown Spartanburg. CASH ONLY or use the ATM machine they have for a surcharge. Unfortunately, the food (Belgium waffles and eggs) had no flavor and they overused the margarine on everything. I will say this the staff are very friendly and prices are very reasonable.

It could have been a rough day for the staff when I was there but Papa’s was a classic diner without the diner speed. The food took an hour to come out, were out of silverware and my omelette was really just eggs on top of vegetables. I would be willing to give it a second try because the place was packed and the servers were doing their best. I wish they would have stopped taking to go orders with how packed it was inside

First time here wasn’t what we expected kind of a run down dumpy place dirty on the floors food was very overpriced for what u got our food was bland and overall not that good! Potatoes that came with the omelet was ice cold and the eggs for the omelet was paper thin! And a another waitress constantly reached over us why we’re eating getting condiments and salt shakers then we seen a lady scooping out butter with her bare hands and no gloves on I wouldn’t come back to this place.

I liked this place a lot! They’re open 24 hours (most of the time) , good comfort food, & a really fun relaxed atmosphere. I enjoy when you are more like friends/ people, rather than just customers. Some people don’t, so if you can’t be understanding of the stressful diner atmosphere this isn’t the place for you, cuz some of the workers were overwhelmed & multitasking. But they were fun and kind and I enjoyed meeting the employees. It’s nice to be talked to like a person & not a rehearsed can I take your order. It was fun to be there & I definitely ate my fill!!

Just not well executed at all. Menu said Spartanburg’s #1 burger so I went for it. Failed miserably. If it was close I’d understand. Took forever to get order. Country ham was tuff and had salt added to it. Salad was just a mess. While waiting for or order they shouted they had to stop taking orders because the cooks weren’t able to perform their job. I ordered French toast for dessert and it was good and refreshing. It was the only redeeming thing about this visit.

Food was not good, pretty flavorless, honestly they might just need a new cook. The kitchen was really dirty made my husband want to walk out. But the lady in charge was so nice we felt bad leaving so stayed anyways. Everyone was kind no question about that. But cleanliness and food needs to be worked on. Portions are not worth the price compared to Denny’s or IHOP.

Visited for lunch my kiddo got the pancake plate the chef made it bunny shaped complete with whip cream mouth she loved it . It was a sweet thoughtful touch the waitresses were nice thoughtful great service. Food was hot and fresh.

Food was excellent but what I want to brag about is the little old lady that is a waitress there because she is awesome!! She runs circles around everyone that works there. She is the best waitress we have ever had!!! I will definitely be back and just to see her!!
