Let me just say, if you are looking for a great place to eat in the Mauldin/Greenville area, this is the place for you! Papa’s & Beer is at the top of my list as my favorite Mexican restaurant. I have never ordered food anywhere and had it served in less than eight minutes! The food was seasoned, hot and very savory! The rice was the fluffiest ever! Our waiter, Aiden was remarkable! . He, as well as the manager, checked on us to ensure that everything was okay with our meals. The atmosphere is vibrant and the decor is very festive. If you have the opportunity, please go to this restaurant and see for yourself! I am sure that you will have a great experience too!

While this is one of many locations of this chain, it is a quality establishment and took good care of us.
We visited the first time during the aftermath of the hurricane, so the crowd was insane and the staff both overwhelmed and stressed, yet they still took good care of us.
The food was just right and, even with the sheer number to serve, they got it to us in a reasonable timeframe.

As soon as I walked in it was full of life and the food smelt amazing. Not even 3 seconds into the door I was greeted with the friendliest smiles. Since it was my first time here they pointed towards some really great meals and desserts. Definitely will be coming back

Best Mexican restaurant in Mauldin! Authentic, delicious and well priced. The portion sizes are huge. The service is fast and friendly. They start you out with complimentary chips, a fresh salsa bar and a warm bean dip. The chips were amazing, freshly made and still warm with just the right amount of salt. I ordered the Shrimp enchilada with beans and rice and it was fantastic and more than I could eat. Highly recommend!

This is the best Papa’s and Beer we’ve been too! The service was absolutely fantastic! The server was super attentive and made sure we were very well taken care of. We sat outside since we brought our dog and it was such a great experience. The food was delicious, the portions were huge and the price was great!

This restaurant is like walking into another country. Such a happy place, bright colors, great decor. And if you go away hungry you can’t blame the cook. The portions are Hugh. We took half of our food home.

I absolutely love this place. I love Mexican food all the way around, but this place does it the best. I ate here once on a lunch break at work, and literally thought about coming back multiple times over the next week until I could find time to come back again. 10/10 by far my favorite place I’ve found while visiting South Carolina.
