Social Profile:

The Paparazzi Restaurant, before named Quattro Pazzi Cafe, offers fine Italian/Mediterranean cuisine and was designed by acclaimed Chef Biagio Gino Riccio. Chef Riccio introduced his fresh, seasonal, vibrant Italian food in 1997 at a casual eatery in Stamford, Connecticut. His reputation and knowledge in the restaurant industry have made him a great teacher who taught the art of cooking fresh, vibrant Italian food to his best line cooks, helping them master the dishes he designed. Chef Jorge Ceron learned from him and had worked at one of his restaurants since he was 20 years old. Now, Chef Jorge Ceron will be in charge of Paparazzi Restaurant, maintaining the quality and commitment to delivering delicious Italian food to our customers.

Paparazzi is a remarkable addition to Darien’s dining scene. The food is elegant, deeply flavorful, and beautifully executed, offering exceptional quality at surprisingly approachable prices. Every dish reflects care, precision, and a clear respect for ingredients.

What truly elevates the experience is the warmth of the service. The owners are present and personally attentive, creating an atmosphere that feels both refined and genuinely welcoming. Despite being newly opened, Paparazzi already feels established—most guests are locals and many are clearly returning, which speaks volumes.

The chef and owner brings experience from Michelin-starred kitchens in Greenwich, and that pedigree is evident throughout the menu. Paparazzi has all the elements of a restaurant destined for notable recognition.

An essential stop for anyone in the area or visiting Connecticut.

Amazing lunch at Paparazzi! We had a great time and both my kids loved the burrata ravioli and penne vodka. We also ordered the spicy penne vodka and Margherita pizza; both delicious. They have a kids menu and kid water cups which was a plus for us. The service was wonderful, restaurant very clean and so cute inside. We will definitely be back!

Had a party of 11 and everything was perfect. The food was fantastic. I was very happy with everything. It wasn’t busy at lunch time so we got seated quickly and the service was quick and very polite.

Overall Good experience. Pasta Fagiola Soup ( lots of tasty garlic slices ) and a tomatoes, cheese, veggies and olive salad were both very delicious. Halibut was cooked to the correct temp but it was kind of bland. Servers were excellent except one busser needs a little mgmnt – he took both sets of bread plates and utensil napkin rolls right as I sat down. Couldn’t put the butter on my bread. My soup was delivered to my table- still no utensils or napkin. Had to get someone’s attention and ask. Oddly, after my soup was finished- he came and cleared bowl and all 3 utensils before I could stop him…plus I wasnt sure if this was the standard for new utensils each course . My salad was then served on the table but again I had to get someone’s attention for silverware in order to eat it. Actually became humorous! It is kind of a small dining area with the tables close together- so be ready for loud conversations within a foot to each side of you. The menu has lots of other excellent selections so definitely worth your visit(s).

The service was excellent, and the prices were fair for the quality. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine in the area.

Paparazzi is a great find in Darien. The food is delicious and the service was impeccable. I definitely recommend the eggplant parmigiana. We went for lunch on a Thursday and the restaurant wasn’t crowded. There are great choices on the menu. I will definitely be returning to Paparazzi Italian Restaurant!

The food is terrific but the constant stream of excruciatingly loud Spanish chat between the head waiter and the servers is beyond distracting. I try to go during quiet times and when I asked if they would kindly speak softer, I was told they had too much to talk about and too bad. ‍♀️
