We got a couple breakfast burritos and a couple sandwiches. Although they were decently sized and filling, they all lacked flavor. I would try the breakfast plates next time- I think that’s where it’s at. The atmosphere is very pleasant. I liked the art in the restaurant. Very cute!

I just wanted to say thanks to Madie and the tall young man with brown hair on Oct 24th thank you for making my first time at Papa Z’s restaurant amazing and fun! You both were funny and handled my crazy new friends ordering food/ at the table. My BBQ chicken was yummy and had lots of my favorites- no tomatoes perfect!! I had an excellent bacon breakfast burrito Today, it was so big that I could only eat half of it & I was stuffed. The eggs were cooked perfect. They were moist & fluffy, not hard and there was an excellent mixture ratio of hashbrowns, cheese, egg and bacon inside. Now if I didn’t spill salsa all over my work shirt and shorts… it would have been a perfect morning lol!!!

This place was recommended by asking a random local where he would go fir breakfast, like he said the food is amazing and the portions are worth the money and cost isn’t that high, avg with anywhere that’s not golden arches. I found my new spot when I’m in town, will be back and highly recommend, thanks random local guy. Friendly staff, clean environment and grill/kitchen, and their coffee is

Papa Z’s is open till 3pm and has been a local favorite for breakfast and lunch breaks for decades. The atmosphere is comfortable, and food is brought to your table after ordering from the counter. Drinks are self-served AUCD. I enjoy breakfast with strong coffee in a good old-fashioned mug. There are no paper cups if dining in. Locals meet, eat, and talk with no pressure to leave. Various creams and sugars are available on the same counter. In recent years, inflation has resulted in higher prices, and my breakfast was just over $18. Oh well, I’d rather pay Papa Z’s versus a national corporate conglomerate.

Ordered the bacon breakfast burrito. The bag felt heavy when they haded it over. I was optimistic, considering I had just paid $15 for a breakfast burrito.

Nice place for some good breakfast for a reasonable price.
You order up front and the servers will come bring your food and then they will clean up your food once you leave nice cozy place.
The employees were very attentive and would come up and ask if we needed anything and if everything was OK.

Not terrible for a counter diner. Reminds me of Nation’s in the East Bay. You order at a counter and get a number. They bring it to whichever table you sit at.
They do take credit cards, so that’s a plus.
Food was okay. It wasn’t the “I need to come back here all the time” quality, but it was decent. Tasted good.
Ham and Cheese Omelette was huge. Could have used more variety of ham slices. They were all tiny squares exactly the same size, which makes me think they buy them pre-cut. Hash browns could have been cooked a little longer. Toast was only toasted and buttered on two of the four pieces.
French toast was too dry, despite the
extra amount of batter that oozed everywhere.
Dining area was clean. Staff were on top of everything. Lots of seating options.

This place is a cute little diner where you order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is made fresh and they give you huge portions. Good food and awesome service for a great price.
