This is a great pizza place. The service has always been really good. The servers are always polite and attentive. I have not had anything on the menu that I didn’t like. The pizza is great but the massive sandwiches is where they shine. A close second is their salads which are not only huge but contain lots of ingredients. I really like the lunch special with the “half” a sandwich and a salad. Its the perfect amount of food.
Also worth mentioning is their banquet space that offers a good place to have a larger gathering.

I love the food here so much! Recently, we went to celebrate a family event so we had 7 people including a toddler. Service was wonderful! We had 3 pizzas, their salad, and wings. I had to get a bottle of dressing to go! Always delicious and always friendly.

This was honestly, some of the very best St. Louis style pizza I have had. The Monster pizza was excellent and much better than the usual meat pizzas I have had elsewhere. The ravs, mozarella sticks were good and the salad was well above average. While I was disapointed to have moved to Belleville out of STL, I can at least take solace in having excellent pizza here. Will be coming back.

Horrible service, horrible food. my mother was dying and I made a mistake and called the wrong location to get her a sandwich. I didn’t want to Dr e farther and leave her alone for long, and they refused to be understanding at a time like that. I promise you they gave the one roastbeef sandwich ito a dine in customer. Now they won’t allow me to order from them. I guess that 14.00 will break them. I spent 14.00 at the other location closer to my house.

Papa Vito’s is my favorite pizza place in town. The entrance to the restaurant sets the mood with a historic home feel, low-lighting, and aged photos of the original building. I came here most recently on Valentine’s Day to pick up a to-go order and the place was packed, unsurprisingly. The KSHE radio station ranked Papa Vito’s to have the best pizza in the St. Louis area. I probably wouldn’t go so far as to say that, but it is quite tasty.
For three people, we ordered two 8-inch personal pizzas, a French-dip sandwich (my husband’s all-time-favorite sandwich, which is made perfectly here), and their house salad. All three of us got a second meal from our leftovers. They offer signature pizzas, but also allow you to build your own.
As it was Valentine’s Day, my food was ready 10 minutes after the scheduled time and the bag was missing a requested extra sauce item. All in all, our experience was nearly top notch and I’m looking forward to my next visit.

We used the private upstairs room to celebrate our daughter’s 30th birthday party last night. What a great experience! The food was excellent and available exactly when we requested. Geneva helped us before and during the event – she was a wonderful hostess! Everyone had enough space to mingle, eat, and celebrate. We thank Geneva and the rest of the staff for a truly lovely evening!

I didn’t want to do this review because I typically try to not review bad experiences. However I felt I needed to do it because this place is high rated and I dont think they deserve it. It used to be a school. The atmosphere is amazing. It’s un like any other run of the mill restaurant. I give it a 10 out 10 for atmosphere. Heads up you may have to park across the street as it is downtown I was fortunate enough to get a space in front. We were greeted and some time passed as the staff seemed confused. We were seated and our waitress was super friendly. We got apps. The toasted ravioli is embarrassing. For an Italian restaurant in the saint louis area to serve frozen toasted ravioli. Is just disgusting. The table next to us sent theirs back. The garlic bread was bread with cheese. No garlic. The wings were good but my daughter asked for buffalo dipping sauce and got ranch. The salads portion is very generous. One salad is good for 3 people. The amount of toppings on the pizzas was very generous as well. Although I had to get up from my table and walk to the wait station to get a jar of parmesan cheese. All of our drinks ran beyond empty and I was on the verge of going to the drink station to refill them myself. After coming home and looking at reviews the issues i experienced seemed common place. This wasn’t an employee shortage issue. This is a training issue. I’d like to think a business that’s been around this long would have mastered its craft. If this was your first year or even third I would given you second chance. But my family will not be returning.

Great place for pizza. Server was friendly and helpful. The salad was large and excellent and the pizza was even better! The crust was excellent. It was thin yet crunchy and tasty.

This was my first visit and me and my family will definitely be going back. The only issue we had was the hostess who sat us made it appear that we were inconveniencing her. The server made up for the hostess being snooty. The food was amazing and oh, the salad can feed 4 ppl easily. The pizza crust is thin and crispy.
