I ordered here for the first time- pick up. No issues with placing my order and rep even read it back to me all correct. Just two small pizzas.
Well I pick it up and I didn’t double check but it didn’t matter because I wasn’t going to wait for it to be changed. But they forgot pepperoni on one pizza. It was not warm/hot- the pie was sloppy and the cheese was not melted like a pizza should be.
Then my no cheese pizza (due to allergy) had barely any toppings- got pepperoni and pineapple and barely any pep.
Very disappointed. Wasn’t worth the drive to lake Carolina for it either. Unfortunate.

Ordered a to go pizza and it was BURNT! The wings were ok but so disappointed to get home and find that the pizza was too hard to eat. Called back and now waiting for a manager to follow up.

Edit: I’ve left the original below, but need to update the review since the first visit. I returned for an event and had a much better experience and thought I really need to update what’s here. For what they do in the community and how they’ve treated the customers I’ve seen, they’ve earned a better review and a better recommendation.
*Original: I hate writing these reviews, but they’re the ones making the food. Our first and last time trying Papa Tony’s. No kid finished a slice and complained about the taste, then we flipped it over to see they were completely burned. Forty dollars for 2 large pizzas and one had to go in the trash while the other was ok at best. We won’t be back.

This pizza was delicious. I loved the thin crust and the sauce and the pizza had a great cheese pull. I will definitely be back.

They put almost no toppings on my pizza, barely any pepperonis, maybe a half of a mushrrom that was sliced up on 2 pieces of the pizza, huge dough bubbles on it. Not even a discount for it. Did not use to be like this. Absolute trash. Avoid this place now.

I’m rescinding my previous positive review based on the experience I had on 8/24/24. I ordered the “Papa’s Special” as I have many times before and the only toppings were pepperoni and black olives. I got it carry out and as soon as I got home I called them to explain the issue. They did not care at all. I asked if I could get a refund on a future purchase. The lady (manager?) said she would think about it and call me back. She never did. This is not what I ordered or paid for. No wonder the place is always empty.

This place is a gem! Best pizza I’ve had in Columbia! The owners were very friendly and inviting. Service was great, they fit us in still when busy. Santa was even there and he brought free desserts! Will be my go to pizza joint for now on.

Only 2 visits first and last. The meatball sandwich was very soggy because it had been sitting around for my pizza was ready. I told the lady that, but she said it was still warm. Pizza was undercooked.

We went to Papa Tony’s Saturday 2 days before St Patrick’s Day, in the evening.
They had a band, busy and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside. We order a medium pizza and Cesar salad with some beer.
They lost our order and it was 2 hours before we ate.
They apologized and comped a our beer.
Pizza was very good.
We returned last night to a full house and a solo singer. We got a table after it was cleaned by what appeared extra staff.
These individuals cleaned our table and then they sat at next table. To eat and watch the singer.
We had a waitress come over. We ordered a pitcher of beer. 25 minutes later no one returned to take our dinner order.
I walked up and asked if I had to order from counter? A waitresses said she’ll be over.
We ordered a medium pizza and 3 meatballs.
It was 90 minutes until our food was served. No one checked on us in between.
Pizza and meatballs were good.
The service 2 weekends in a row is terrible! I don’t know how a business can actually function and stay in business with such poor customer service.
Great little joint but a huge disappointment!
