The food is always fresh, hot, very good! Anything ordered here is always put together well. The server guy is a friendly man, he always checks on ya several times if you dine in. The restaurant is very clean, and even enough space for big families to sit with tables together! This is my daughter and I favorite to stop at once in a while!

I recently moved to Crystal Lake and was looking for great delivery options. I have tried several other places that were recommended by friends, but I really love Papa Saverio’s. I love their pizza, the breaded mushrooms and especially the wings. The garlic Parmesan wings are beyond compare.

Very disappointing!! This place used to amazing under the old owners. The new owners completely changed everything the wings got smaller, very dry, and are disgusting the salad tastes fake and cheep, they have items on the menu that they do not carry and the pizza is very average.

Food was good, place was clean, service was poor. My wife, oldest daughter, and I came in for a small bite to eat for lunch. There were only a couple of people who appeared to be eating on their lunch break inside the place. My family and I get to the counter and ordered our pizza. I then asked for some drinks. The way the lady spoke seemed as if we were an annoyance or as if she didn’t want to be there. I’m a very passive person and usually stuff like this just flies by me without me noticing. However, I noticed it right away.
After we got our order, my family and I sat in the outside patio area. It was a nice environment, and as mentioned, the place looked very clean. The pizza was big and filling. As soon as we were done, we threw away our trash and left. No other interaction whatsoever with the staff on whether everything was good or if we needed anything else. Most likely won’t be back for a while.

Papa Saverio’s Pizza is some of the best pizza I ever had! I love getting their slices, they are big and delicious. I last visited on Sunday, August 31st, 2025 and did takeout slices. They only had pepperoni and sausage pizza by the time of day but It was still tasty and delicious and takeout service is the quickest takeout service I have ever experienced. They cater high school sports games in the area too at least, and I very much recommend! We make sure we stop in at least every once in a while! Especially with football now in season! Last night we ordered from Papa Saverio’s in Crystal Lake and were blown away! The pizza was perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside, cheesy and flavorful on the inside. Their crust has that ideal balance of chew and crunch, and the toppings tasted fresh and generous.
We also tried their pasta and garlic bread — both were outstanding. You can tell they care about quality and flavor in everything they serve.
Definitely one of the best local pizza spots around. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic, satisfying Italian comfort food!

I stopped in with a coworker to grab a slice, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing due to the behavior of the young woman working the register. She was noticeably rude, lacked basic customer service skills, and came across as irritated from the moment we stepped up to order.
When I tried to clarify that our orders were separate, her only response was a curt “yeah, cash or card,” without making any effort to listen or engage. My coworker then asked to add a drink, and she responded with visible frustration, as if we were inconveniencing her by simply ordering food.
I understand that everyone has off days and outside stress can bleed into work—but it is never acceptable to treat customers with such attitude. A little professionalism and kindness go a long way, especially in customer-facing roles. Disappointed with the service today.
