I can’t really give a review on the food because I never got the food after being there over an hour. I understand that sometimes mistakes happen so I am not upset at the server but rather management. They let us leave without trying to make it right. Basically, the cashier told me ” I am sorry this happened, the server is new”. That is fine and I do understand. We have all been new to our jobs at one time. What should happen is they should try to make it right so that their guests will want to come back. This made me 45 minutes late for me being back to my job. Very frustrated. My recommendation,…. is make it right when there are mistakes made and support your new employees. Realize that they are new and may need additional support. Your guests will appreciate when you acknowledge that there is an issue and try to make it right with the guests that chose your restaurant from many many place to eat.
Thanks,

They have a different special every day and night but Saturdays, I believe. I’ve had the Fetticini Alfredo and Chicken Parmesean served with a side of spaghetti and marinara. The mozzarella was bubbling hot. You get fresh baked bread, a side salad, and a drink for $6.95. You CANNOT beat that for delicious food in this economy. The Fetticini Alfredo has tender pasta and a delicious cheesy sauce.
You can not go wrong eating here. Everything is pretty delicious and served fresh and bubbling hot. They’ve changed their hours and are open much longer than before, so don’t miss an opportunity.
Friendly service, no matter how busy it is, and sweet tea is just right. I could eat here all the time.
My overall impression is a small town atmosphere and delicious food, and it’s always made to order.

I really love the the antipasta salad while my husband’s favorite is the lasagna or chicken Alfredo. I have been craving Antipasta salad for weeks and finally had the chance to get to Clay to place my order. Imagine how much it sucked to get there wait 10 to see the first waitress who did not acknowledge me. After another 5 minutes a 2nd worker shows up, asks if I have been helped. I tell her no she keeps walking and dissappears behind the wall. The first person come out again, ask if I’ve been helped (at least she acknowledged me this time). I tell he no. She goes behind the wall to call Courtney to the front. After 20 minutes of this foolishness I leave. This is the 2nd time something g like this happen. I would give grace if the restaurant was crowed, but both times a little at a little after 2 there were only 3 customers counting me. If you have changed the people you are serving. Then state that…. I have always be told go were you are appreciated not tolerated. Your establishment seems to setting a tone. Don’t be ambiguous… be bold and say and stand behind what you believe.

We just moved to Pinson and have been working on remodeling our house! We needed a place to sit down and eat that was close by so we picked Papa Sal’s. What a cool little place to eat and it was delicious. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Alfredo with a sode salad and bread and I ordered what I thought was a personal size buffalo chicken pizza.

When we got our food we were shocked at the portion sizes and the food was delicious. The Pizza was great! A little doughy and not super crispy! My girlfriend loved the Alfredo and the Italian dressing on her salad was so good we bought 16oz of it to take home. Everything tasted fresh and the prices were great. We plan to have many more nights eating at Papa Sal’s.

My dad ordered the veal parm special and I ordered pizza. Got the pizza first and when it came out it, bottom was so soggy and raw on bottom. I asked if they would cook bottom more and FOH manager told me it wasn’t raw, it was grease from meat. I was in restaurant industry for 20 years, the dough was raw for sure and she tried to convince me to eat it which could result in me getting sick. I asked to have it boxed so I could reheat at home. 10 minutes later we still had not received the veal parm order and when we asked, server said they gave to another table. He said it would be out soon but we were over the whole thing and we just left. HORRIBLE DINING EXPERIENCE!!!!

Called to place a togo order was told it would be 35-40mins. No problem. Showed up and walked in exactly 40mins later. 60mins later… no food…. 90 mins later…. yup nothing… 107 mins after ordering I received my order…

I would suggest to the owner before expanding the dining room you should ensure your kitchen can keep up. No need.to wait over an hour an a half for pasta.

It gets better.. I ordered chicken canolloni and it was nothing but cheese and pasta NO chicken whatsoever.

Salad greens were wilted looked days old there was barley enough salad dressing to cover half the salad.

Whike waiting on my food i witnessed one kitchen employee frequent the bathroom twice. A different kitchen employee walked through the dining room on the phone out the front door. I would avoid this place

This is some of the best authentic pizza I’ve ever had! It comes close to the pizza I’ve had in Chicago! If you love authentically prepped and cooked Italian good, this is it! The Alfredo melts in your mouth. The salad is fresh with delicious obviously made from scratch dressing. Atmosphere? Are you coming for great service and food or just for looks? It’s a sweet home town Italian restaurant. It’s definitely a hidden gem! Thank you guys for amazing food and service!

I’ll start with over priced side salad, one meal came out 45 minutes before the rest, over an hour for cold fettuccine and salty, very salty grilled chicken. The wait staff was decent, we had to ask for drink refills, to go box (the dogs will eat or), and had to go find out check. We won’t go back.

Listen. I have been craving a good chicken parm lately and really didn’t want to deal with Olive Gardens prices. Well, I am so glad I have Papa Sal’s a shot because the price AND quality is better than Olive Garden’s , HANDS DOWN. Definitely will be back!
