Hello I live in bham near the lake. Been ordering for Papa Romanos at maple and cranbrook for over a decade. If you try to use a coupon the bot tells you it can’t do that so it sends you directly to the store. In the past this worked. But now it tells you no one is available after a few minutes of holding.. I believe Papa Romanos is the best pizza in the area… Yeah Brooklyn is great but that Napotalian style pizza. For American Pizza it’s great. I don’t leave reviews locally… Check my reviews they are out of town usually..just want my old Papa Romanos back. I need it. My low review is to draw attention..sorry a bit misleading.

Beware of timing. Placed an order tonight at 8:08 with the phone bot. Showed up at 8:30 and was told they are closed and money would be refunded for order.
Sign on the door says 10pm, Google Maps says 9pm.
Note March 8th. Reached out when asked by management. No response. I see another situation in comments a couple weeks after mine. Don’t order after 7pm
Really inconvenient, guess the smirk on the young guys face when I’m now out 40 mins of my evening probably prompted this review.
Side note. When they are there making pizza its 5 out of 5 stars. Best Papa Romanos around in that category.

We ordered from this location tonight for a pick up. Order #R66931 we get there with in the 30ins 7:40 pm of order the doors are locked and they said they canceled our order. They show hours open until 9:00. This will be the 3rd strike for Papa’s. The last two times we didn’t get extra sauce that we paid for. When we asked them the first time they were rude and didn’t deliver the second time they delivered it but it took longer and out dinner was delayed but tonight is the end of any business we will give this poor6run business.

I have tried them all and this is the best pizza in the area.
Three components to an excellent pizza:
– Crust – Romano’s has the perfect crust, crispy exterior, gooey chewy warm interior. It also has great flavor, my favorite part of this pizza at the end of a slice.
– Sauce – Rich and flavorful, little spice to it. They have the correct amount of sauce, not too much not too little.
– Cheese – cheese should be stringy and thick. They have the perfect cheese.
It’s better than all the competitors, the perfect pizza.

Most recently I pre ordered delivery for my kids 1st birthday. They delivered on time and it was amazing pizza. My guests even commented on how good the pizza is. That is pretty good as the pizza market in this area is tough. I have utilized them a few times for my kids Birthdays. As always I can count on them to have great quality pizza at a reasonable price. I just wish they were closer to my house and I might order from there weekly… or more.

Ordered a pizza online at 8:20pm., on July 3, 2025. Paid for the pizza online. When we arrived at the store, at 8:45pm., the store was already closed, even though the posted closing time is 9pm. The employee inside the store would not come to the door. He stated from his location inside the store that they were closed. We didn’t get the food we ordered and paid for. Now, we have to try to reach out to the store and try to get our money back. Extremely disappointing. While we were sitting there, two other customers showed up, assuming that they should still be open. Last time I’ll ever go to that location.

Ordered from PaPa Romanos at this location for years and it was great. For the past month or 2 we have been having several issues. Today I called in the order and even had the girl read it back to me because they got it wrong last time. She told us to be there in 20 minutes, which we were. They did not have the order and could not even find it. So we had to wait 20 minutes again, to get our order. And they charged full price. Very poor customer service over our last 4 or 5 visits to carry out. So disappointing. Buddy’s here we come. We are so done with PaPa’s

Stopped in while in the area, my pizza was done before the estimate of 20 min so that was nice. Food was definitely fresh out the oven and made very well. Glorious amount of cheese and evenly spread with toppings. Amount of grease from the pepperoni was unreal.. made eating in the car, shall I say, interesting to say the least. Would buy again.
