We are in Orange Beach for the first time. The waitress took care of us well, just was not necessarily “above and beyond” to earn 5 stars. The atmosphere was fun, and I think there is a story that goes along with the owner, as there were many pictures of him and newspaper articles with his picture, but we did not stop to read them–it was getting pretty crowded. I would recommend this place. Many varieties for the pizzas and plenty of other choices on the menu. My daughter loved her baked pasta Alfredo with spinach, the cheesy bread we got as an appetizer was large, but the cheese did not cover both slices. My pizza had chicken, bacon bits, tomato, spinach, and an Alfredo base. It was really tasty, and I loved everything about it, except the crust seemed a little too salty to me. Maybe it’s just me. We would go here again though, for sure.

While visiting Gulf Coast region we we’re looking for something open after 10pm and found this restaurant. Wait was about 20min. Service was good, food was tasty and atmosphere was very cozy. Plus nice live music.

A nice atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. I called ahead only a short 15 minute wait and my pizza was done. I ordered pepperoni with extra cheese. I elected for a large, since they only offer large and small. It was enough for 2-3 people depending on how hungry you are. The pizza is decent, definitely hit the right amount of cheese.

This place has great pizza, wings are very good and great size. Customer service is friendly. The only downside was that I was unable to order for pick up over the phone for some reason. They just never answered, so I had to go in person and wait there for a to go order.

I was craving Lasagna and we found Papa Rocco’s. It’s small and has that “among friends” feel to it, somehow. The service is laid back, but friendly. We were told that the recipes still used today were Papa’s Italian wife’s recipes, even though she passed a little while ago. They’ve been here for 38 years and seem very proud of her recipes and what they have accomplished with them.

Very good pizza. And service was great the food is amazing. There was a 45 minute wait on a Friday night. But totally worth it

Very good pizza at an affordable price. We showed up at 10 pm and we were pleasantly surprised to hear live music being played by a very artist. The service was polite and very informative. The pizza was made to perfection and in a timely manner. Definitely give them a try and don’t worry about showing up after 9pm.

Had lunch there 7/16. Took forever to get our food, which happens and wouldn’t prompt me to leave a bad review. Once we got our food there was a quite large screw in my sandwich (that I bit into and had to spit out of my mouth!) When the waitress came over I nicely informed her that there may be other loose screws on equipment/pots. She didn’t act surprised, didn’t utter an apology, and said, “give me that.” She took the screw and left. I watched her take it to the man at the bar and I never heard another thing about it. When I got my bill my $10 sandwich had been taken off, which is fine I guess, but not what I was looking for. An apology would have been nice, or not being made to feel like I was lying about it. So…watch for screws in your food if you go to Papa Rocco’s!

Papa Rocco’s is a must stop when in Gulf Shores (and worth every bit of any wait to be seated – it moves quickly). Start with the oysters! Pizzas and lasagna are sooo good. We always order larger pizza than we can eat to take back to the condo for the next day. Bartenders and bands are always fabulous. Go try them!

The food was good service from our waitress was good but one little lady was not to thrilled to be there. She should have taken the day off or something. When we got there it wasn’t to busy but the line started going out the door and she did not like it but that place is small and they didn’t have anywhere to stand except for outside. It was lunchtime so they did get busy. It seems to be a really popular place. They had, I know of, two parking areas, possibly 3 and I’m sure there where people that parked elsewhere and walked.
