Le restaurant Papa Poules a récupéré le bel espace et l’agréable terrasse de La Cantine des Grands, proposant depuis quelques semaines de découvrir sa carte. Savant dosage de plats maison comme les petits violets poêlés, les tomates anciennes à la burrata, le carpaccio de betteraves et feta ou encore les œufs cocotte forestière ou les charcuteries ibériques à partager. Mais la spécialité de la maison reste la cuisson des viandes à la broche accompagnées de pommes de terre sarladaises, ou de mini-courgettes rôties.

Papa Poules, 2 Rue Andre Che. Service excellent! Staff went over and beyond!! Definitely a plus if you visit the Palace of Versailles. Wanted something that they didn’t have. Hey went next door and got it! The table next to me asked if they had a omelette. The response: we can make it for you! Customer service absolutely excellent and the fare is great as wel. It is certainly worth a visit if you visit Versailles in France.

We have ordered our meals with difficulty because french waiter is not able to understand us. We especially informed her about beef cook level but she brought us rare beef. We asked their suggestion but only said chicken. Taste of the products were not good. I don’t suggest to anyone.

Best place for wholesome brunch! They have good brunch deals that are pretty wholesome. Three course brunch with bread basket and the bread is tooooo good and so is everything else of the brunch. We had fried eggs, eggs Benedict, coffee, fresh orange juice, french toast and pancakes! It’s a whole feast! The service and staff is also very nice! Must try on a weekend!

Awesome vibe and atmosphere for lunch. I have been two different times. The first time I went the dining room upstairs was not full that day, this made the restaurant so beautiful! All of the acrylic chairs shined in the sunlight. The dining room is wrapped in glass and gives you a great view of Paris. I also love all the pops of color throughout the restaurant. Very unique spot.
The second time I went, the restaurant was very full and we had to wait for a table because we were late to our reservation. It was no problem they still sat us quickly and the service was very friendly.
The food was good. The first time I had a udon noodle shiitake mushroom dish. The second time I had crab ravioli. Both great!
However the restaurant is definitely on the more expensive side. The portion sizes are not large, so I would recommend an appetizer if going for dinner or lunch if you’re hungry. The drink menu is also pretty expensive. But the location is in the heart of Paris with an amazing view, so I can see why they charge the prices they do. I have not been at night yet, but would like to try during sunset for cocktails.
