Edited: read below for details. I love Papa Murphys. Their pizza is amazing! Hands down the best you can get around here, if you’re willing put the work into baking it yourself. I had a very poor experience recently, worst experience ever, in fact. I left a review and my wife made a phone call. I did not expect anything to come of it, but boy an I pleasantly surprised. I got an email an apology and received proper compensation for the poor experience. This was amazing of them to do, and shows that they value their customer base. Thanks to the manager/franchise/ corporation… or whoever took my review and experience seriously. VERY much appreciated and will definitely have me going back to give it another shot. Thanks!!!!
Previous review: Pizza was hurried, not great. Light on Ingredients even though i asked for extra. Order was supposed to be ready at 5:16. I showed up at 5:30 and hit the drive through…. got deer in the headlights. As the girl looked like I asked for my food in another language. Parked and went in because they hadn’t even started my order yet. 6:00 and they got my crust wrong and had to start over on one of my pizzas. Watched 4 other people come in after I arrived and leave with their orders before I got my food. Kids working apologized (at least)… while 3 of them stood on line and watched one make the food. They crew was scattered, confused, didn’t seem to have any communication or coordination of their efforts. Each person, when they were actually doing something, was each working on a different order instead of prioritizing the people who have been there the longest. I get that they may have been a little busy, but there were 4 of them in the store for crying out load…. never had such poor service at papa Murphys in my life. Didn’t offer any drinks or anything… just a “thanks for waiting” as left an HOUR after my food was supposed to be ready. Ugh.

HOW IN THE WORLD IS THIS A GOOD BUSINESS MODEL WHO WANTS TO ORDER A PIZZA AND THEN COOK IT THEMSELVES. The pizza is mid and you have to wait triple the time if you would have just ordered take out from a place that actually cooks your food for you. Papa Murphy’s this means war!
