Very disappointed in my experience at this location today. I have been going to Papa Murphy forever and probably have ordere 947 pizzas from them. I always order the NYer with pepperoni . I ask every time to also add grilled chicken and they add it no probably with an up charge (as they should) but today the guy worker refused to add the chicken to my pizza. He said he can sell it us on the side but can’t alter the pizza anyway. So basically I have to take the side of grilled chicken home and add it myself. Smh. ♀️ so silly and now the chicken also lacks the seasoning that goes on the New Yorker. This has never been an issue.

This location has messed up my order on multiple occasions. The latest tho was the wrist I’ve had. They ran out of items on the menu understand that, but rather then calling the number on my online order to let me change or cancel they made what they felt changes where acceptable. The pizza was a ham, pineapple, and onion pizza, kinda unique but since they where out of ham and onions according to the worker. They made a pineapple and pepperoni pizza. Then when called back about it the kid was rude and apparently didn’t understand if they don’t have what I ordered don’t just guess. Call the customer I would have just canceled my order no harm no foul. But after waiting 45 minutes to have my order messed up in such a manner. I won’t use this location again, I’ve ordered the same thing on the same day for years. I’ve never had such bad service and just general entitlement to do a they want.

The gentlemen at the Erie shop were engaging and happy. They always greet you when you walk in. Great guys! Pizza was wonderful. You can’t beat the Friday deals. We hit this location every time we’re in town. Great job Management! A company that gets it.

I placed an online order at 4:05 pm and arrived at the store around 4:30. They were pretty busy so I knew my order would be maybe 5-10 minutes behind. A lady orders in front of me and they told her 45 minutes. So then I really anticipated about 15 minutes or so mine would be ready. The guy checks me out and I asked him about how long until my order was done and he told me the same 30-45 minutes. And so I asked how come if I placed my order 25 minutes ago and they just told the person in front of me 45 minutes. He rudely tells me ugh because half of the employees called out and we have a lot of orders. I said ok rudeness isn’t necessary. He proceeds to yell across the store “you’re the one being rude!” Mind you there is no way you can even tell if I raised an octave because my throat is scratched up and I can hardly speak at this time let alone yell. I even apologized to him if I came off rude, but I didn’t understand why my items were going to be so long and asked for clarification. Then when I did come back in to check on it again he was rude when i asked if it was ready. Then they started doing my order and literally threw it together. I spent $30 on my food to get a trash pizza in return and terrible customer service. The website should also be able to update expected ready time based off if the store is busy or not.

Longtime customer, appreciate being able to order the pizza exactly the way we like it, at a reasonable price. Key is being able to bake it properly ourselves, which took some experimenting and the purchase of an Old Stone Pizza Peel so we could bake directly on the oven rack.

I feel compelled to write a review in support of this Papa Murphy’s location. We ordered four to seven pizzas a week from the Erie location and the orders are always ready on time and with high quality.
This year, when Halloween landed on their Tuesday special, it was clear that the app system had no way to throttle orders and the orders completely overwhelmed this location. When I arrived at 4 pm the line was out the door. There could not have been more people working. Every staff member was racing to try to help people as best they could. Amazingly, the staff remained positive and helpful in the face of an astounding amount of entitlement from many of the customers in the room. I was watching them come up with creative solutions to organize orders and help people out. It was really impressive.
The Papa Murphy’s app should be able to prevent a single location from being completely overwhelmed with orders. There is a physical limit to the number of pizzas that a group of people can make in a single building. I’m confident this team made that many pizzas and probably a few more.
I look forward to continuing to support this location for many years to come.

Something was off on the pizza crust today and it didn’t cook well or evenly the way it normally does. We ordered the chicago style and this crust pizza and both tasted different.

Normally, I love Papa Murphy’s pizza, especially the thin crust. Today I ordered Papa Murphy’s big stuffed crust pizza. It was horrendously big. Very difficult to cook and had way too much crust. Doesn’t look anything like the pictures in the advertisement the pizza itself was 2 inches thick. The ingredients are good. However, this type of pizza just wasn’t for my liking and I Love Pizza!!
