Update: So I got a boilerplate email response that asked for my contact info so they could reach out, which was good I thought. However it REQUIRED that I check a box to accept marketing emails in order to submit my contact info; I won’t do that so I guess their attempt to address the issue was another fail.
I had a nearly unbelievable experience at Granbury Papa Murphy’s. The kid, very young, had ear buds in, couldn’t hear me, and kept saying Huh. Took four tries to ring up a pretty simple half and half order. And then screwed up both pizzas as he tried to make them, and I tried to stop the mistakes, but he couldn’t hear me. It was a terrible experience. While I like the pizza, I told my wife if he is in there next time I go in, I’ll just turn around and walk out.

Husband placed order at 1:36 pm today for 7 pm pickup. Stop by HEB, and next stop pizzas. With kid and full car in tow, pizzas were not ready. When shown copies of the receipts, nope don’t have it. One gentleman made a call – great, found the order that was paid in full. Now 7:28 pm. I wait. Couple behind me places a full order and get theirs and goes. I never like to press for where’s my food -(watch the moving Waiting and you will understand), but seriously it’s 7:45 pm, tired kid, tired mom and it’s my husband’s birthday. So I ask and get a crappy answer of your next in line. We are really crafting much here, isn’t the subway of pizzas? Gets the pizzas made at snails pace then slams them down. Doesn’t say my name nothing. The store is flirty and I guess the overall hygiene of the workers- no gloves on the back, no hand washing, people before me- guy making the pizzas put hand with glove in his pocket only to grab his ear bud all over his shirt – then later sneezed a couple times. No hand washing, just gross. Needless to say after waiting almost an hour for 2 mediocre pizzas.

I have not had PM pizza in a long time. I do not like to complain but I was disappointed in the way the place looked in the store. There was one light on in the whole place, crickets and food underneath the whole work area and cash register. They hadn’t been there for just a day or two. There was food all over the countertop and where preparing the pizza. Seemed like the place is about to go under for how it all looked. The young man working there had his phone music playing on the speakers in the store. He quickly turned it off before you heard anymore cussing in the wrap music. It sure isn’t the same place as the first owners who had it. There should be a better standard.

We have been going to PM in Granbury since the day they opened; maybe 2 -3 years ago. We have had only one minor hiccup a few weeks ago I think because they were just slammed with orders. Other than that, we have always been pleased! Today was no exception. I wanted to get a couple of pies to watch the Chiefs and the Cowboys games with friends. When I arrived, the pies were ready. The associates were great, gracious and professional. We popped in the oven, and about 18 minutes later were enjoying some little slices of heaven. They were great! We highly recommend Papa Murphy’s in Granbury! Check them out!!!

My pizza was made wrong. I tried calling the store several times 2 hours before they were supposed to close but no one would answer the phone. Very disappointed. Guess I’m stuck with it.

Just want to shout out the young man working Monday October 13th. He was all by himself handling quite a few orders. He handled the pressure like a pro. Don’t see this a lot with our younger generation.

Totally disorganized and short handed. I arrived after 30 minutes to pick up order, and employee said they didn’t have an order by my name. I had to show him email confirmation a d he finally found my order under several which came in after mine, including the one he was working on which was placed 20 minutes after mine.
In his defense, there were 2 employees running everything on a Saturday, which is a management issue.

Nice employees, clean location, easy access to online order and great pizza. This is not an eat-in restaurant. Our pizzas usually cook well except for the very center. We usually order thin crust large or family size and cook at 425 for about 13 minutes. It’s still delicious, just not crispy in the center. Cooking on a pizza stone would fix this issue if you have one.
