I’ve driven past Papa Murphy’s in Joplin countless times and always thought about giving it a try. When I looked at their menu, the stuffed crust option actually seemed pretty appealing. Then I noticed they were running a $1 special on a medium pizza, so I figured I will get this one now and the stuffed crust some other time.
Well… what I got was a surprise. They handed me an uncooked pizza that I had to take home and bake myself. Their regular prices run upwards of $6, which is around the same as places like Little Caesars or Domino’s—except those places actually bake the pizza for you. Papa Murphy’s felt more like a dressed-up frozen pizza experience, just overall disappointing.
Honestly, I’m glad I only paid $1. If I had spent $22 on the pizza I originally planned to get and then found out I had to bake it myself, I would’ve been very upset.

This was my first time coming here and trying their pizza! They are a take home and bake. They do not bake anything in the store!
Erin was AMAZINGLY helpful when it came to explaining how all the deals went. Tuesday is the day to come in for pizzas! Check this place out if you have not tried these pizzas, they’re worth a try!

The pizza was amazing. However, when I picked it up, it was in an open rack. The woman at the register didn’t ask my name and just said I could take them if I’d prepaid. I’m a little worried about their system.

We’ve always received great customer service and pizza! Been buying Papa Murphy’s for over 20 years. I love the take n bake pizza so we can have a hot pizza out of the oven with no fuss or mess. There is always a special deal going on so we always get a bargin! Also have coupons for more bang for our buck!

We placed an order while we were staying at the hotel nearby. After I paid, I found out that the pizzas had to be baked at home, which we were unable to do. The gentleman gladly refunded my money. I appreciated the excellent customer service at Papa Murphy’s.. Thank you.

Got recommended this place by a friend. Not terrible but not a fan either. They cost regular pizza shop price if not more plus you have to make it yourself. And it tastes like any other frozen pizza maybe a little better. I probably won’t get it again. Also my pizza ballooned in the oven lol. Don’t know what that was all about
