My husband and I have tried this place on three different occasions, most recently tonight with the second occasion having been about a year ago. Our second visit was not great, but we decided to give this place a try again thinking maybe they worked some of their issues out. We arrived about 5:20p And got immediate seating our server came and was extremely nice. We don’t care for the brand of soda they serve, So we ordered waters not a big deal there. My husband’s water tasted weird kind of sweet, but the waitress was kind enough to replace it We ordered chicken tenders and the grandma’s pasta. It took over 35 minutes to get our order and when we asked, we were told that a wedding party was there an ordered all at the same time. The food finally came out And The chicken tenders were extremely overcooked coming out very dark. The pasta and meatballs were not very warm and were not my favorite only because I am not a fan of spicy sauce which could be on me. We told the waitress about the chicken tenders and While she offered to have them drop new ones, we just were a little too frustrated with the wait for the food. I’m sure this place has great possibilities, it’s just not A place we would frequent again.

This is a newer place that is great, just needs to attract a larger crowd which will happen. The food was good and the drinks are priced very well. They also have a sports zone attached if you want to keep the kids occupied while having a drink. Plenty of TV’s to enjoy as well as slot machines to win some money. Stop by when you have a chance or are in Shorewood.

Went here for the first time for music. Had great service for the place being so packed. Meatball sandwich was pretty darn good. Can’t wait to come here again for more music

This place has such potential to be awesome, but we had a bad experience here. It may be due to them recently opening, so I’ll cut em some slack. I ordered the meatball sandwich, and 20 minutes after ordering, I was told they were all out of meatballs. Once our order was ready, it sat on the bar for so long that I walked up and grabbed my own food. Since they were all out of meatballs, I ordered the wings. The buffalo sauce was good, but the wings were so small you’d think they got em from a baby chicken. I’d give them a few more weeks to get settled before trying them out.

Prices are reasonable but whatever they tell you they cannot make a Manhattan.. no sweet vermouth. Music over the speakers was exceedingly loud. Service was good, though.

Food is way over priced.
The batting cages in the dome were $35 per half hour. No gear to give you to let you use. Have to have your own stuff.
Gosh only knows what the golf simulator costs but the bartenders were super friendly and very talkative.

We always end up there during the quiet hours of the day around lunch. It’s so clean; the bathrooms are well maintained.

Service is always excellent; the bartenders are great.

We’ve been several times now; Grandma’s Favorite is the best thing on their menu. The pasta is FRESH made (not just boiled to order, we’re taking Al Dente so be willing to wait a few more minutes. This dish is worth it! The meatballs are just texturally perfectly blended and cooked. Don’t be fooled by the way they describe the dish; their homemade Italian gravy is the best red sauce you’ve ever had.

What a nice surprise in a corn field in an upcoming area, minutes from Shorewood proper. Michelle, our waitress, was super attentive. The place was clean and the Onion Rings were Outstanding. The burger and wrap were Delicious.

We’ve been coming to Papa Magoo’s for about a year and it’s definitely our home away from home. The food is always delicious, ESPECIALLY their cheese curds. Some of the best outside of Wisconsin. The daily drink specials offer something for everyone, everyday! The beer is always cold and the staff is always friendly and ready to serve. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good time with friends and family!
