It’s quaint and there isn’t a lot of seating, so I’d advise getting there early.
Super cute coffee shop with good bites — what more could you ask for!
I will definitely go back to try their brewed coffee. I tried the key lime tart it was just enough and just enough lime. Very yummy.
Staff is super friendly. I can’t remember the young lady name but she was informative about the items on the menu. I love to see when people really love what they do. You can tell when they treat their staff right. It shows automatically.
I was polite, pleasant, and apparently punished for it. The Older woman with glasses at the counter delivered curt, icy service with the kind of practiced disdain one usually reserves for telemarketers.
If this is the standard here, then I’m genuinely impressed the reviews are as glowing as they are. I can only assume everyone else caught them on a dramatically better day.
Regrettably, I can’t say I’ll be rushing back to test that theory.
When I got in line, I didn’t realize that I needed to fill out a paper order form beforehand since it was my first visit and no instructions were provided. When the cashier, Sandra, asked what I wanted and I said açaí, she seemed irritated that I didn’t already have the form. She handed me one and told me to circle my choices.
While I was selecting the items, she corrected me in a very harsh tone, saying, “Hey madam, it’s a circle, make a circle” and the way this was said made me feel embarrassed, as if I had done something very wrong. It honestly made me want to leave.
I understand that everyone can have difficult days, but working with the public requires patience and kindness, especially with first-time customers who are unfamiliar with the process. Sadly, this interaction left a very negative impression, and I don’t plan to return.
