I thought I would try something different today ,a place we haven’t been. When we first walked in, we were greeted by the owner who told us to sit wherever we wanted . A brief conversation pursued about where I was from. Then I asked him where he was from and I got the look like I had four eyes and he wanted to know why I needed to know. That did not set the mood for this first time visit. I have been coming to Florida since I was a kid and have brought my kids here since they were small and have NEVER once when talking about our home state got the look like I was being nosy. If I wear a Buffalo Bills shirt, people obviously say” go bills” If I tell them I’m from upstate New York, we usually have something in common. The waitress we had was very nice and looked like she worked her tail off. But because of the first impression with the owner, I don’t think I would go back there.

It’s a diner, so it’s atmosphere is just that. We’ve been there twice in our short time in Inverness and our new favorite place. The staff tag-teams the tables, so the service is great. I love corned beef hash and it is done perfectly. Prices are good too.

If you love a true American breakfast, you must come eat here! Their breakfast is amazing! So fresh and delicious. Great portions too! But the best part is their staff. Excellent customer service! They were so polite and friendly. Food came out quickly. They were very attentive to our table. I had such a great experience. I can’t wait to go back again! Thanks Papas! You definitely set the bar up high!

Not very happy at all the pricing online is misleading. It’s twice the cost when you get there the meatloaf was on their website for 799+ tax and I was charged almost $19. They told me that it’s an old menu and that the meatloaf is now almost $15. This is unacceptable. When I mentioned it to the lady she became very annoyed. I will never come back here again.

I’ve been here a few times. I really love this place! They are very clean, fast service, friendly staff, the food is awesome!! owners are very sweet and down to earth. I ordered a cheeseburger wrap and it was amazing! Burgers will never be the same because these wraps are the best thing I’ve had in a long time♥️ There are over 100 restaurants in this county and this place in def in the top 10 for lunch and breakfast. **I have not tried their dinner yet**

Servers greeted us promptly and we were seated right away with coffees to follow very shortly. Food was excellent. We had the meat lover’s skillet with a biscuit and a biscuit and gravy with eggs and sausage. Everything was cooked perfect for us and tasted better than that. We will be going back anytime we are in that area.

Atmosphere can get a little loud when they are busy, but they work hard to take care of everyone quickly and efficiently. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is served quickly and cooked to order. I am making this one of my regular places for breakfast.

Update: I had forgotten about this place until the other day 7/15/23. My husband and I had breakfast and boy was it the best darn breakfast we’ve ever had out! We are going to make Papa J’s our new weekly breakfast stop. Excellent service as well. Thank you!
